【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は燃結機や焼結鉱冷却機等の焼結鉱製造
設備におけるシール装置に関し、特にフード内の

ラフ間のシールやトラフとエアチヤンバー間のシ
ール等に適用し得るシール装置に関する。

が、ゴム板の摩耗が速く、短期間でシール部に隙
間ができてエアや排ガス、粉塵等が漏れてしまう
という問題があつた。

チヤンバー5からの冷却風を焼結鉱Sに供給して
冷却する様にしている。6はトラフ1の上方を覆
う様に配設されたフードで、焼結鉱Sを通過した
排ガスを集めてダクト7a,7bから排出する。
これらダクト7a,7bから排出された排ガス
は、その温度や性状に応じて適宜熱回収装置に送
られたり、焼結用空気として利用されたり、ある
いは煙突から大気中に放出される。8はダクト7

板で、フード6の下端近傍まで延びており、その

前記刷毛状体11の細線12を重ねた部分の厚み
tは薄すぎるとシール効果が十分得られないが、
5mm以上でもかなりのシール効果が得られ、10〜
15mm以上にすれば十分なシール効果が得られる。

の高い領域の排ガスが低い方の領域に流れ込んで
熱効率を低下せしめるなどの問題は生じない。ま
た、シール装置10はステンレス製の細線12か
らなる刷毛状体11にて構成されているので、高
温に晒されてもその機能が劣化するという様なこ
とはなく、かつ十分な弾性復元力を有しているの
で、焼結鉱Sの表面の起伏が大きくてもそれに倣
つて弾性変形し、シール作用が常に確保される。

る等、多大の効果を発揮する。
