機101が共用であるために排気用フアン102
の回転も低下し、排気風量も減少してしまう。そ
のため給気風量と排気風量とを別個に制御するこ
とができず、冷暖房を行つている場合、温度差の
大なる外気が直接急激に流入することによる熱エ
ネルギーの損失や、換気扇停止時であつても外風
が強い場合の給気流路よりの温湿度の適当でない
外気の流入による意図しない室内環境の変化によ
る不快感等の悪影響があり、これらを解決するた
めに給気側の室内開口部に蝶番で係止した扉状の
開口調節板を設け、排気量を変えないで給気量を
調節したり、運転停止時の外気の侵入を防いだり
する方法がとられているが、給気をしているとき
は開口調節板の構造上、ある流速をもつ給気は一
方向にのみ進入し、たとえば冬季で進入方向に人
がいると隙間風として不快感をもつものであり、
室内レイアウトにも制約をうけるものであつた。

えることなく給気風量を無段階に制御できる。特
にシヤツター12は両開きであるので2個のシヤ
ツター12の位置を変えることにより開口位置を
自在に変更でき、したがつて外気の室内への吐出
方向を自在に選ぶことができるものである。
