せ、ガス湯沸器6の燃焼ガスを排気用送風機2に
よつて室外へ排出するようにしている。

込口9より排気用送風機2に吸込まれ、室外側吐
出口13より室外へ排出される。この場合、ガス
湯沸器6の使用と同時にレンジフード本体1が運
転されるので、ガスの燃焼による酸欠事故等は防
ぐことが可能となり、また、ガス湯沸器6の燃焼
ガスを排気用ダクト8により直接排気用送風機に
吸込むことが可能となるので、ガス湯沸器6の燃
焼ガスが室内空気を汚染することもなくなる。こ
のために、レンジフードの排気風量も従来のもの
より少なくて済み、消費電力および騒音が低下す
る等の利点が生じる。また、排気用ダクト8の端
部に設けたドラフトダンパー10により、ガス湯
沸器6の燃焼ガスが排気用送風機2に吸込まれる
量を調整するため、ガス湯沸器6が不完全燃焼し
たり、火が消えたりする恐れもなくなる。

全燃焼したり、火が消えたりする恐れがなくなる
という効果が得られる。
