Recently, there has been a trend toward increasing the heating space within the frame of electric kotatsu, thereby increasing the range of movement of the warmer's feet. As a specific means for enlarging this heating space, a small diameter so-called quartz heater, in which a coiled heater wire is inserted into a ceramic pipe, is provided on the top plate of the frame.

Although the diameter of the heater itself can be reduced by using the quartz heater as described above, the high radiant heat of the quartz heater requires the protective net to be separated from the heater by a large distance, which causes the entire heater unit to be thick in the vertical direction. It became. That is, when the protective net is placed close to the heater, it is possible to make the heater unit thinner, but the temperature of the protective net rises and there is a risk of burns.

Incidentally, there are some devices that use small-diameter heaters called so-called cord heaters for heating purposes, making the heater unit as thin as possible; There was no heating, and the heating effect was low.

The present invention improves the above points and will be explained below based on the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a side partial sectional view. 1 includes a top plate 3 having a rectangular storage recess 2 in the center, a plurality of support legs 4 provided at the corners of the top plate,
It is a rectangular frame having 4, 4, 4, and forms a heating space 5 inside. Reference numeral 6 designates a rectangular heater unit installed in the storage recess 2, which has a relatively small thickness and a small diameter, and is a non-red-hot type heater unit that generates high heat, such as a cord heater, which is arranged in a spiral or meandering manner on the lower surface of the mounting plate. It consists of a blower 10 consisting of a large heater 7, a motor 8 and a fan 9 installed in the center, a low-heat-emitting illumination lamp 11 arranged annularly near the blower, and a protective net 12 that covers the bottom of each member. .
The illumination lamp 11 emits red light at a low voltage, for example, about 12V and 40W, and can sufficiently illuminate the inside of the heating space 5.

Next, we will discuss the operation. Power switch 19
When turned on, the main current flows through the power switch 19, temperature fuse 18, lighting lamp 11, and heater 7, causing the heater 7 to generate heat and perform radiant heating. The heating space 5 is illuminated in red by lighting the lighting lamp 11, and the interior of the heating space 5 is illuminated in red. Here, the main current is a large current of 4 to 6 A and flows through the lighting lamp 11, but the voltage across the lamp is set to be lower than its rated voltage due to a voltage drop due to the internal resistance of the heater 7. do. For example, if the rated voltage and calorific value of heater 7 is 100V-
Assuming 500W, the rated voltage and heat output of lighting lamp 11 are
The voltage is set to 12V-40W, and the setting is made so that a voltage of about 6V is applied to the illumination lamp 11. At this time, the lighting lamp 11
The resistance value generally decreases when a voltage lower than the rated voltage is applied. Therefore, in order to light the lighting lamp 11 with a heat output of 25W,
Use the part with a resistance value of 1.44Ω. Therefore, the heater 7 generates heat at approximately 400W. As a result, the illumination lamp 11 is lit with a heat output of about 25W, and the heater 7 generates heat with a heat output of about 400W. In this way, low voltage and low heat generation lighting lamp 1
By using No. 1 at a lower voltage due to the internal resistance of the heater, the life span can be extended several times to several tens of times. This theoretical formula is as follows.

L(寿命)=L0(V/V-14 ここでL0は定格電圧使用時の寿命(H) V0は定格電圧(V) V は寿命(L)時の印加電圧(V) となる。この様に一般的に定格寿命が数百時間か

L (life) = L 0 (V/V 0 ) -14 where L 0 is the life when using the rated voltage (H) V 0 is the rated voltage (V) V is the applied voltage (V) at the time of the life (L) becomes. In this way, even if the rated life is generally from several hundred hours to 1,500 to 2,000 hours, the life can be extended to about 10,000 hours by lowering the applied voltage.

As described above, the present invention comprises a frame body having a top plate and a plurality of support legs and forming a heating space inside, and a heater unit provided in the top plate part of the frame body, and the unit has a small diameter. It is equipped with a cord heater that is a non-red-hot type and has a high calorific value, a low voltage, low calorific value lighting lamp, and a protective net, and the heater and the lighting lamp are connected in series, so it is suitable for use in radiant heating. Since a non-red-heating type heater with a large diameter is used and a lighting lamp is used for visual heating, radiation and visual heating can be obtained at the same time, and the heater can be made relatively compact. It becomes colder and can bring a protective net closer to it. Therefore, the heater unit can be made thinner and the heating space can be set larger. Furthermore, by connecting the illumination lamp in series with the heater, the applied voltage can be kept below the rated voltage and the life of the lamp can be significantly extended.
