Abstract

PURPOSE:To high accurately guide an electrode so as to improve machining accuracy, by providing an air gap, which inserts a guided wire electrode, in a supporting arm while a conveying belt or a conveying roller, which automatically introduces the wire electrode to be conveyed, in said air gap. CONSTITUTION:An arm 1 forms in its inside an air gap in the lengthwise direction, here a wire electrode 2 is inserted. A guide roller 5 is arranged just below a guide 3, and conveying belts 6, 7 are provided along the air gap in the arm 1. The belt 6, which is mounted to be bridged between rollers 8, is driven by a motor 10. While the belt 7 moves between the roller 5 and rollers 9. The moving belts 6, 7, linked over the upper and bottom point end rollers, rotate moving being brought into frictional contact, and a point end of the wire 2, lowering penetrating through the guide 3, is forced to be attached while being rolled in between the belts 6, 7, thus the belts 6, 7, which move by driving the motor 10, drive the wire electrode 2 to be conveyed in the rightward direction of an arrow head in the drawing. In this way, torsion, flection, etc. of the arm 1 itself can be surely prevented by strong tension of the electrode 2.

As for the wire diameter of the wire electrode 2, a thin wire with a diameter of about 0.05 to 0.3 mm is used, but depending on the case, a thick wire with a diameter of about 0.51111 or more may be used. □ Strong tension is applied to such wire electrodes to prevent them from breaking, bending, bending, photographing, etc., but as shown in Figure 2, guide them along the sides of arms and arms 1 and apply strong tension to them. As a result, the arm 1 is twisted, bent, and distorted, and the precision with which the wire 2 is guided to the tip of the arm changes. This variation error in the guide directly affects the machining accuracy and has the drawback of reducing the machining shape accuracy.

The movable belts 6.7 hung on the upper and lower tip rollers move and rotate due to contact friction, and the tip of the wire 2 passing through the guide 3 and descending is wrapped between the belts 6.7 and crimped to drive the motor 10. The wire electrode 2 is conveyed and driven in the right arrow direction by the movement of the belt 6.1. The belt 6.
It is preferable that the cavity in the arm through which the arm 7 is inserted is provided at the center of symmetry of the entire arm 1, thereby reliably preventing the arm itself from twisting, bending, etc. due to the strong tension of the wire electrode 2.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, the present invention forms a gap in the length direction in which a wire electrode is inserted in one or both of the upper and lower arms,
A belt conveyor, roller conveyor, or other arbitrary conveyance device is installed to introduce and convey the wire electrode passing through the guide, so the wire electrode can be inserted and stretched into the arm automatically. It is simple and easy to guide and move.
