を装着した刈払機において、前記ハンドル杆８は
合成樹脂の如き弾性部材にて形成させるとともに
、その前方の操作杆６にはスロツトルレバー９を
固定させ、さらに前記ハンドル杆８の基部８ａに
は該ハンドル杆８の長手方向と直交する孔部８ｅ
を設け、この孔部８ｅに連通しハンドル杆８の長
手方向に第１及び第２の割り溝８ｂ′，８ｂ″を
設け、第１の割り溝８ｂ′はハンドル杆８の基端
部縁８ｋと孔部８ｅに、第２の割り溝８ｂ″は孔
部８ｅよりハンドル杆８の先端部方向に設け、し
かも第２の割り溝８ｂ″に対し第１の割り溝８ｂ
′の溝幅を大きく形成するとともに、第２の割り
溝８ｂ″の先端にこの割り溝８ｂ″の溝幅より直
径が大きい先端孔部８ｇと、前記孔部８ｅと先端
孔部８ｇとの間にスロツトルワイヤ１３を挿通支
持させるスロツトルワイヤ支持用孔部８ｆを設け
