The first method is to run the cable through a conduit pipe that is pre-buried in the floor, and the second method is to route the cable on the floor and then cover it with a wire protector.

The construction cost of installing conduit pipes is high;
In addition, although the latter method is easy to install and has a low construction cost, the wire protector protrudes from the floor surface, causing an obstruction to pedestrian traffic and the transportation of goods. There is a problem that it may cause damage to the room, and it also spoils the aesthetic appearance of the room.

These reinforcing wires 3 and insulated core wires 4, 4 are integrally covered with a tube-shaped insulating layer 5 made of an insulating material such as polyethylene or PVC, and the outer surface of this insulating layer 5 is covered with a mechanical material such as polyester. It is constructed by integrally covering it with a shield layer 6 made of a strong synthetic resin and a metal tape, such as aluminum tape, bonded together.

When this flat cable 1 is raised from the floor and connected to a telephone 9 on a desk 8, the flat cable 1 is reinforced at the raised part 10 where external force is likely to be applied, and the insulated core wires 4 and 4 on both sides are reinforced. It is preferable that the following conditions from ○A to ○B are satisfied.

The structure includes, for example, a solid or hollow hard copper wire or mild steel wire, or a nylon rope wrapped with aluminum tape. Further, if a large tensile strength is not required, a good shielding effect can be obtained even if the reinforcing wire is made of conductive plastic instead of metal.

You can. In addition, in the first and second embodiments, one perforation was formed in the center of each connection piece, but the perforation was formed in the side part of each connection piece and the connection part with the flat cable. In this case, the two perforations allow the connecting piece to be easily removed from the flat cable.
