流電流を供給するようにしたものにおいて、前記
超電導コイルを電気的に直列しつつ複数個のサブ
コイルに分割すると共に、この分割された各サブ
コイルのうちの予定のサブコイルに第１の保護抵
抗を並列に接続し、かつ前記各サブコイルが直列
されてなる直列回路と並列に第２の保護抵抗を並
列に接続し、前記サブコイルの常電導転移時に、
前記保護スイツチを開放する構成とするようにし
たことを特徴とする超電導マグネツトの保護装置
。 (2) 第１の保護抵抗は、分割された各サブコイ
ルのうちでインダクダンスの小さいサブコイルに
接続するようにしたことを特徴とする実用新案登
