Abstract

PURPOSE:To cut down a pull-out operation of a liner body for vent hole forming by fitting a pipe-like body as bridge on a groove of a plaster core and pouring molten aluminum into the space, which is formed by the core fitting up the pipe-like body and a main mold. CONSTITUTION:The pipe-like body 9 is set across the groove 8 on the surface 7 of the plaster core 1, and recess parts 12, 13 on the side walls 10, 11 of the groove 8 arranged on the surface 7 are formed, and the both ends 9a, 9b of the pipe-like body 9 are laid on the recess parts 12, 13 and is fixed to the recess parts 12, 13 by filling up a filler 14, 15, composing of the plaster, etc. The tire mold made by pouring the molten metal, such as aluminum alloy, etc., into the space, which is formed by the plaster core 1 formed by such a way and the main mold, encloses the pipe-like body 9, which forms the vent hole by long hole thereof, and so the pull-out operation is eliminated.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Prior Art] Generally, in order to form a tire, a gypsum core having the same external shape as the tire is made, and a main mold consisting of a flat plate and a mold surrounds the gypsum core. A tire mold is used, which is made by injecting molten metal such as aluminum alloy into a hollow part and solidifying it.

In this tire mold, the air pressure necessary to vulcanize the raw rubber and form the tire is applied from the inside of the tire toward the outer circumference to form the tire's outer shape. At this time, the outer surface of the tire and the tire mold are A large number of small holes called vent holes are formed to penetrate in the radial direction in order to release the air trapped between the raw rubber and the gas generated from the raw rubber during vulcanization.

For this reason, a large number of rubber protrusions called spews that flow into the vent holes are formed on the outer surface of the tire that has been vulcanized by the tire mold, impairing the appearance of the tire, and therefore need to be removed.

Therefore, a method has been considered in which a vent hole extending in a direction parallel to the tire surface is formed in a protruding bone portion of a tire mold corresponding to the tire groove, and a spew is formed in the tire groove.

The conventional method for forming these vent holes is to form a number of recesses in the opposing side walls of the surface groove of the gypsum core, and insert and bury both ends of the filament into each of the opposing recesses. It bridges the gap.

The vent holes made of these striated bodies are formed as close to the outer periphery of the tire groove as possible to enhance the effect of removing air and gas, and are formed at the proximal end of the bone part of the mold in a complementary relationship with the tire groove. There is a need.

Therefore, this filament is bridged by the groove on the surface of the plaster core, its both ends are fixed in the recess with plaster, and then cast into the proximal end of the bone part of the tire mold. A vent hole is formed in the tire mold by pulling the strip out of the tire mold.

In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides the following method for forming a vent hole for a tire mold. That is, in the present invention, a large number of pairs of recesses are formed in the upper part of opposing side walls of a groove on the surface of a gypsum core for a tire mold, and both ends of a tubular body are attached between the opposing recesses, so that a large number of pairs of recesses are formed in the upper part of the groove. After forming the tubular body into a bridge shape, a gypsum core formed by forming the tubular body into a bridge shape is arranged in a ring shape, and molten aluminum alloy is poured into the space formed by the core and the main mold to form a tire mold. This is a method for forming a vent hole for a tire mold, characterized in that the vent hole is formed by a tubular body cast into the tire mold.

As explained above, one aspect of the present invention is to attach a tubular body to the groove of a gypsum core in the form of a bridge, and pour molten aluminum into the space formed by the main mold of the gypsum core to which the tubular body is attached, thereby forming a tire mold. Since the tube is formed and then cast around the tubular body, the elongated hole in the tubular body directly becomes the vent hole of the tire mold, eliminating the need for extraction work. Therefore, it becomes easy to form a vent hole in the tire mold, and the vent hole can be formed without depending on the shape and size of the tire mold bone and the position and direction of the vent hole.

Further, since the filament is not pulled out as in the conventional method, there is an advantage that the shape of the vent hole can be freely determined.
