単位機器とテレビチユーナ、映像表示器などの映
像単位機器との組み合わせからなる複合装置を遠
隔操作し、テープ再生あるいは録音などの使用モ
ードに応じて前記各単位機器の動作モードを制御
する遠隔操作装置において、前記各単位機器の動
作モード指定用の複数個の操作キーを有し、前記
キーの操作により指定された動作モードの制御情
報のコード信号を送信する送信手段と、前記各単
位機器のいずれか１つに設けられ前記コード信号
を受信して該コード信号の制御情報を判別し、該
制御情報が当該単位機器に対する内容であるとき
に前記制御情報にもとづく当該単位機器の動作制
御を行ない、残りの前記各単位機器に対する内容
であるときに前記残りの各単位機器への前記コー
ド信号の転送を行なう主受信制御手段と、前記残
りの各単位機器に設けられ前記主受信制御手段か
ら転送された前記コード信号を受信して該コード
信号の制御情報を判別し、該制御情報が当該単位
機器に対する内容であるときに前記制御情報にも
とづく当該単位機器の動作制御を行なう副受信制
