CONSTITUTION:A card-shaped recording medium which has an IC memory part of 64k-bit information capacity and an optical memory part of about 2M- byte information capacity and measures about 54mmX85.4mm is produced and is used as a credit card. A name, a password number, an account number, the term of validity, etc., are recorded in the IC memory part, and the details of shopping are recorded in the optical memory part. The name, the password number, etc., require high security, and it is necessary that identification and confirmation of the reliability of the card are performed in a short time by them. Details of shopping require a large capacity in preference to security and quickness because its data volume is large. 短縮がなされ、さらに携帯性に優れた多用途に使用可能
なカード状記録体を提供することかできることを知見し
、本発明の完成に到ったものである。
