Claims (1)

【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 溶融金属を導く通路の外周部に設けられた
検出コイルを備え、該検出コイルの自己インダク
タンスの変化または該検出コイルに生じる誘導起
電力の変化に基づいて、前記溶融金属に続いてス
ラグが前記通路内に流入したことを検出する装置
において、 前記検出コイルを、耐火物に巻回した耐熱線に
て構成したことを特徴とするスラグ検出装置。 (2) 前記検出コイルは、励磁コイルを挾んで互
いに離間して配置された一対のコイルにて構成さ
れ、該励磁コイルによつて前記溶融金属内に発生
する渦電流に基づいて該一対のコイルにそれぞれ
生じる誘導起電力を差動増幅することにより、前
記スラグが前記通路内に流入したことを検出する

出装置。 (3) 前記検出コイルは、励磁コイルの外側また
は内側に互いに離間して配置された一対のコイル
にて構成され、該励磁コイルによつて前記溶融金
属内に発生する渦電流に基づいて該一対のコイル
にそれぞれ生じる誘導起電力を差動増幅すること
により、前記スラグが前記通路内に流入したこと
を検出する実用新案登録請求の範囲第1項に記載
のスラグ検出装置。
