Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 搬送路を走行する帳票上の文字を読取る読取部
を備え、読取り内容の認識を行う文字読取装置に
おいて、 搬送路に沿つて読取位置より上流で、搬送方向
に垂直に離間して設けられ帳票の先端を検出する
複数のセンサと、 前記複数のセンサのうち１つが帳票の先端を検
出してから他のセンサが帳票の先端を検出するま
での帳票の走行量を計数する計数器と、 前記複数のセンサが帳票の先端を検出する順序
により帳票の傾斜方向を検出する検出回路と、 前記計数器及び検出回路の出力信号に基づいて
帳票の先端の辺と平行になるように前記読取部の
位置を制御する制御部とを設けたことを特徴とす
る文字読取装置。
