Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct a camber by giving deflection to the rolling reduction quantity and to improve the flatness by adjusting the rolling reduction quantity at the operation side and driving side according to the camber quantity of a flat steel on the lower roller of the slant roller with flange which is arranged in zigzags. CONSTITUTION:In case of the operation side of the lower roller of a flanged slant roller 1 being made under strong pressure and the driving side under light pressure an elongation difference is caused on the route of the slat steel 2 which passes the part thereof. The camber can therefore be corrected by giving the rolling reduction deflection equivalent to the elongation difference by adjusting the rolling reduction quantity for the quantity of the camber of the flat steel 2.
