[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to spikes for golf shoes that are lightweight and have excellent durability, and are characterized by the use of cermet.

Conventionally, spikes for golf shoes have generally been made by fixing a steel pillar-shaped pin to the seat plate and hardening the pin part to improve wear resistance. It wasn't.

Therefore, attempts have been made to fit cemented carbide into the tip 9 of the pin 8 to improve wear resistance and durability, as shown in Figures 2 and 3. The alloy part has excellent wear resistance and is difficult to wear out, but other parts of the pin wear out first, so
The middle part of the pin becomes thinner (indicated by the broken line in Figure 2), making the pin more likely to break, or the cemented carbide falling off, making it unable to perform its full function.
In addition, since the use of cemented carbide, which has a higher specific gravity than iron, the spikes themselves are heavier, and as a result,
Golf shoes that use many spikes become heavier,
It was becoming more and more tiring for my legs.

Therefore, in view of the drawbacks of the conventional art, the present inventor conducted various studies on highly durable and lightweight spikes for golf shoes, and as a result, he came up with the present invention.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described based on the drawings. As shown in FIG. A cylindrical protrusion 5 is provided on the back surface of the seat plate 2,
Further, a disc-shaped seat 6 having a diameter larger than that of the protrusion 5 is provided at the tip of the protrusion 5 to form the protrusion 4, and these are integrally formed into a spike made of cermet. The configuration consists of 1.

The cermet used in the present invention is a cermet that has excellent wear resistance and mechanical strength, or is almost the same as that of a cemented carbide, such as an alloy whose main components are WC+Co, and is lightweight. Although not particularly limited, TC-30 TiC+TiN series manufactured by Kyoto Ceramics Co., Ltd. is preferred.

Further, the shape of the pin portion 3 and the protruding portion 5 may be cylindrical or prismatic, and the shape of the seat plate 2 and the seat portion 6 may be either disk-like or square-like, and is not particularly limited.

The method of fixing the spike 1 to the sole of the shoe is to embed the protrusion 4 of the spike 1 into the sole 7 at the time of molding the sole.

In this way, compared to conventional spikes made of steel or cemented carbide, this invention has less wear on the pin part, is less likely to break, is more durable, and the spike itself can be made lighter. There is no need to replace spikes, the weight of the golf shoes is reduced, and there is less fatigue on the feet even when using these shoes for long periods of time.In addition, the spikes are made of cermet that is integrally formed. This has the advantage that the assembly process and quenching process of the spike itself are unnecessary, and its manufacturing can be simplified.
