For this reason, in the past, physical therapists, osteopaths, or pine surgeons performed muscle pine surgery as post-fracture treatment.
Performs extension and flexion movements of the joint.

This requires extremely hard work for the caregiver, so there has been a demand for equipment that allows this type of exercise to be performed without assistance.

While relaxing, pressurized air is intermittently supplied to the tilted airbag to inflate it, thereby lifting the front of the joint and stretching and flexing it, thereby loosening the muscles that have tightened during bone union of the fracture. works to return to normal condition.

2 can be fixed at any angle. Reference numeral 4 denotes a flat cushion-like airbag mounted on the base 1, and a holding cover 5 made of cloth or mesh is placed on the upper part of the airbag 4, and a holding cover 5 made of cloth or mesh is attached to the upper part of the thigh on which the airbag 4 is placed. The holding cover 5 is attached to surround and hold the affected area from above, and a fastener is provided in the vertical direction of the holding cover 5 to facilitate insertion of the affected area. Reference numeral 6 denotes an inclined air bag mounted on the base 2, which has an inclined upper surface such that when inflated, the inner side near the fixed hinge 3 is lower and the outer side is higher. A holding cover 7 made of cloth or mesh is attached so as to surround the affected part such as the lower leg of the foot placed on this from above, and a fastener is also attached in the vertical direction to this holding cover 7.

Inside the pressure air supply device 9, a regulator with a pressure adjustment mechanism is connected to an air supply pipe from an air compressor (not shown).
A pressure switch that detects abnormally high pressure and stops the compression operation, an air volume regulator, a solenoid valve, and a pressure regulating exhaust valve are connected in series, and a timer that opens and closes the solenoid valve is provided. It is configured to intermittently supply pressurized air to the inclined airbag 6.

For example, when the tibia or most of the bones in the leg are fractured, the bones are fused with the joints on both sides near the affected area completely fixed. If this fusion lasts for a long period of time, The muscles become stiff and the knee joint becomes immobile. In such cases, post-therapy is performed to restore the stiff muscles to their normal state by performing extension and flexion movements of the knee joint as described below.

The shin is placed on the inclined airbag 6 on the base 2,
A holding cover 7 is placed over it. In this state, when the pressure air supply device 9 is started, pressure air is supplied from the pressure air supply device 9 to the airbag 4 and the inclined airbag 6 through the hose 8, and the airbag 4 inflates. When the patient's shin is compressed and the inclined airbag 6 inflates as shown in FIG. 3, the patient's shin is lifted and the knee joint is thereby bent. Then, when the compression time set on the timer, for example 3 seconds, has elapsed, the solenoid valve is closed and the air inside the airbags 4 and 6 is exhausted from the pressure adjustment exhaust valve, and the airbags 4 and 6 are operated again as shown in FIG. The patient's knee joint is extended. By repeating such movements, the knee joint is extended and bent, but the thigh is intermittently compressed by the airbag 4, and this compression slows down the nerve transmission speed.
It can relieve pain in this area and encourage flexion of the knee joint during this time, promoting the effects of post-therapy. Further, since the lower leg of the foot is appropriately lifted by the inflation of the inclined airbag 6, the knee joint can be flexed without difficulty, reducing pain and increasing the therapeutic effect.

As shown in the figure, treatment is performed to achieve even greater curvature. In other words, the bases 1 and 2 are bent at 30 degrees, 60 degrees, 90 degrees or more from the horizontal using the fixed hinge 3, and the airbag 4 and the tilted airbag are bent with the two bases 1 and 2 bent. By operating 6 in the same manner as in 2 and intermittently inflating it, similar extension/flexion interlocking is performed. As a result, the joint is gradually bent, and effective post-fracture treatment can be performed without strain, which is more efficient than manual assistance, and the treatment period can be shortened.

合においても、同様応用出来る。In the above example, the case of a femoral or inferior occipital bone fracture was explained, but if the tarsal bone, Achilles elbow, etc. are injured and bone fusion is performed to fix the talon occipital joint, the fracture is shown in Fig. 6. Place the inclined airbag 11 on the sole of your foot and airbag 12 as shown.
It is also possible to perform extension/flexion interlocking by placing the foot on the calf and flexing the ankle in a -L direction, thereby restoring the stiff soleus and gastrocnemius muscles. It can also be applied to the arms in the same way as the legs, and in the case of fractures of the humerus, ulna, and radius, the seventh
As shown in the figure, inclined airbag 13 and airbag 1
A similar effect can be obtained by placing the arm 4 on the arm and extending and bending the elbow joint in the same manner as above. The same method can also be applied to the case of manual construction.

In order to perform extension/flexion movements of the joint by lifting it with an air bag,
It alleviates the pain in the muscles at the base of the joint, encourages the joint to extend and bend easily, and improves the effects of fh therapy, reducing the burden on physical therapists, osteopaths, and pine surgeons, and improving efficiency. Good treatment can be provided.
