In general, in electrolytic capacitors such as aluminum electrolytic capacitors, the capacitor element is constructed by winding aluminum electrode foils with a separator interposed between them, and the capacitor element is impregnated with electrolyte and placed inside an aluminum case. It is constructed by storing the case and sealing the opening of the case using a sealing body. In addition, in this electrolytic capacitor, as shown in FIG. 1, the lead from the electrode foil is drawn out from the aluminum flat part 2c of the lead 2, which is formed by butting and joining an aluminum rod 2a and a CP wire 2b to the electrode foil 1. This is done by

However, in the case of such electrolytic capacitors,
In the winding process of the electrode foil 1, the tension during the foil winding is also applied to the tip of the flat part 2c of the drawer lead 2, and as a result, as shown in FIG. There was a drawback that the separator 3 was torn at the corner 2d, resulting in a shorted state between the electrode foils 1.

In addition, shot defects caused by this lead 2 are the most common shot defects of electrolytic capacitors, and have become a serious problem.

That is, in the present invention, the width of the flat part 2c is oriented from the base end to the tip as shown in FIG. It has a tapered shape that gradually becomes thinner.

In this way, in the present invention, the drawer lead 2
The flat part 2c connected to the electrode foil 1 is tapered so that the width gradually becomes narrower toward the tip, and as shown in FIG. No winding tension is applied to the corner 2d, thereby preventing the separator 3 from being damaged by the corner 2d.
No more shot defects.

Moreover, since it is sufficient to simply process the flat portion 2c into a tapered shape, the number of manufacturing steps does not increase or the process becomes difficult, and the process can be implemented immediately and at low cost.

As described above, according to the present invention, by just slightly modifying the flat part of the lead lead, it is possible to eliminate shoots at the connection point between the lead lead and the electrode foil, which accounted for the majority of shot defects in electrolytic capacitors. Moreover, an excellent effect can be obtained in that it can be implemented at low cost.
