従来の回転電機は、第1図に示すように、継鉄
1の外周端部に設けられた複数個の排気孔2か
ら、継鉄1内に収納された発熱部を冷却した冷却
風3を直接排気するようにされている。このた
め、回転機の磁気音や機械音も一諸に排出される
ので、騒音が大きいという欠点があつた。
