Recently, the use of solar thermal energy has attracted attention as a means of saving limited energy sources. Water heaters that use this kind of energy have been put into practical use for some time, but they are only used on a very small scale and mainly in rural areas. That is, it has a structure in which a plurality of heat collecting cylindrical bodies are communicated with each other, and these are attached along the slope of the roof.

However, such water heaters are mainly used to supply hot water to bathtubs, for example, and are not designed to store hot water. For this reason, it is limited to use while the sun is shining, and has the disadvantage of dissipating heat unless it is used on cloudy days or in the evening. Also, since it is installed along the roof, the angle of inclination is shallow (approximately 20 degrees), and especially in the winter when hot water is needed, the sun's altitude is low, so it does not heat up sufficiently, resulting in small temperature rises and making maintenance and inspection difficult. Placing it on a balcony, veranda, etc. takes up a lot of space and is practically impossible.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described below based on the drawings. In the figure, 1 is a water heater main body, and this water heater main body 1 includes a horizontal bottom plate, a back plate that stands upright from the rear of the bottom plate, and a back plate that stands upright from both sides of the bottom plate.
A side plate having a substantially right-angled triangular shape that slopes from the front to the rear, a front opening 2 that is surrounded by these and slopes, and a transparent plate 3 made of, for example, a glass material that is sealed in the opening 2. It consists of The water heater main body 1 includes these bottom plates,
It has a box-like shape in which a back plate, both side plates, and a transparent plate 3 are connected to each other, and has a substantially right-angled triangular side cross section. This height is approximately the same as the height of handrails installed on balconies, verandas, etc. A heat collecting section 4, which will be described later, is provided inside the water heater main body 1 along the transparent plate 3. That is, a heat collecting plate 5 is provided opposite to the transparent plate 3 and facing the sun with an inclination of approximately 60 degrees toward the rear side. This heat collecting plate 5 has a plurality of parallel copper tubes 5a interposed between a support substrate and an aluminum wheel coated with black paint. Both ends of each copper tube 5a are connected to an upper header tube 6a and a lower header 6b. Above water heater body 1
The inner surface, excluding the transparent plate 3, is covered with a heat-insulating reflective case 7, which is made of a heat-insulating board made of glass wool, styrofoam, etc., and aluminum wheels with good heat-reflecting efficiency attached to the surface. Also, the back side of the heat collecting part 4 in the water heater main body 1, that is, the blank space at the rear bottom between the heat collecting plate 5 in the water heater main body 1 and the above-mentioned back plate, which is caused by the inclination of the heat collecting part 4. There is a hot water storage tank 8 in the corner of the space, and this hot water storage tank 8 and the heat collecting plate 5
A circulation pump 9 is arranged in the blank space between. The hot water storage tank 8 has a sealed structure with a heat insulating material pasted on its surface, and a water supply pipe 10 is connected thereto. The opening and closing of the water supply pipe 10 is controlled by a ball tap 10a shown only in FIG. 2, and the water level in the hot water storage tank 8 is maintained at a constant level. The circulation pump 9 communicates the hot water storage tank 8 and the lower header pipe 6b to circulate hot water to the heat collecting plate 5. Further, the upper header pipe 6a communicates with the hot water storage tank 8 through a conduction pipe 11 shown only in FIG. Note that 12 is a water supply pipe that protrudes from the side of the hot water storage tank 8 and communicates between the hot water storage tanks 8.
13 is a connecting pipe that combines the water supply connecting pipe 14 and the hot water supply connecting pipe 15, the water supply connecting pipe 14 branches and communicates with each lower header pipe 6b, and the hot water supply connecting pipe 15 branches and connects into each hot water storage tank 8. It extends to the top. Note that the hot water storage tank 8 is provided with a low temperature sensor and a high temperature sensor (not shown), so that the operation of the circulation pump 9 can be controlled.

The solar water heater S constructed in this manner is placed on the handrail of a balcony or verandah, with the transparent plate 3 facing the sun. By installing other solar water heaters Sa and Sb in parallel to correspond to the desired amount of hot water supply, these also serve as handrails. As shown in FIG. 2, the other solar water heaters Sa and Sb do not require the water supply pipe 10 and the circulation pump 9, and the other configurations are the same as the solar water heater S.
These may be communicated with each other as described later.
That is, each hot water storage tank 8 is communicated with the water supply pipe 12. The water supply connecting pipe 14 is connected to the lower header pipe 6b of each heat collecting section 4, and the hot water connecting pipe 15 is connected to each hot water storage tank 8.

Thus, the heat exchange water introduced into the hot water storage tank 8 from the water supply pipe 10 is pumped to the heat collecting plates 5 of all the water heaters S, Sa, Sb by the operation of the circulation pump 9. These heat collecting plates 5 collect and absorb sunlight, and exchange heat with heat exchange water. Therefore, the temperature of the water rises, the water is converted to hot water, and is led to each hot water storage tank 8. Hot water is stored in each hot water storage tank 8 and is maintained at the same water level by a water supply pipe 12. Therefore, by opening the hot water tap 19, the required amount of hot water can be obtained from the hot water storage tank 8 through the hot water supply connection pipe 15.
The water level in each hot water storage tank 8 drops all at once, and when it drops to a predetermined water level, water is replenished by the operation of the ball tap 10a and the water level is maintained at a constant level.

In this way, in the above embodiment, since the heat collecting plate 5 is installed at an angle of about 60 degrees, the light receiving angle is lower than that of conventional water heaters installed on the roof, which are installed at an angle along the slope of the roof. is ideal, and the light reception efficiency is particularly good during seasons when the solar heat altitude is low, such as winter.

As explained above, according to the present invention, the bottom plate,
The back plate is formed into a box shape with an opening that slopes at the front by both side plates having a substantially right triangular shape that slopes from the front toward the rear, and a transparent plate is attached to this opening so that the side cross section becomes a substantially right triangle. A heat collecting plate is arranged at an angle facing a transparent plate inside the water heater body, which is shaped and has a height approximately equal to the handrail of a balcony or veranda.
A hot water storage tank is placed at the rear bottom of the blank space between this heat collecting plate and the back plate, and multiple units of solar heat collectors are installed in parallel on the balcony or verandah handrail, and one of them is A circulation pump was placed between the heat collection plate in the blank space of one solar heat collector and the hot water storage tank, which circulates hot water there as well as circulating hot water from other solar water heaters at the same time. The container can be used as a handrail on a balcony or verandah without spoiling the aesthetics, and the light-receiving area is greatly increased, making it possible to store a large amount of hot water, extending the hot water supply time and expanding the hot water supply range. Moreover, the heat collection plate, hot water storage tank, and circulation pump can be efficiently arranged inside the water heater body, making the device into a unit, and making effective use of the blank space between the rear of the slanted heat collection plate and the back plate. It is possible to circulate hot water to multiple solar heat collectors using a pump, and has the advantage of being economical.
