[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a pot burner ignition device. As shown in Fig. 1, the pot burner is provided with a fuel supply pipe 1 at its bottom, and an igniter is arranged on the side wall of the pot burner so that the end of the suction wick 2 contacts the bottom of the pot burner. .

Kerosene supplied from a fuel supply pipe 1 is sucked up by a suction wick 2 that is in contact with the bottom surface of the pot burner.
When the heater coil 4 is energized, the heater coil 4 becomes red hot and reaches a high temperature, and the radiant heat heats the wick 2 and ignites the kerosene. vapor 7 and a flame front 6 are formed, and the air flows along the flame front 6 as shown by the arrow. In this device, since the wick 2 has a wide band shape, it is difficult to supply air to the 7 parts of the kerosene vapor, resulting in incomplete combustion and a large amount of soot. Due to the large size, the evaporation of kerosene increases rapidly after being ignited due to the heat of flame 6, and flame 7 also rapidly increases in size, thus promoting incomplete combustion due to lack of air and promoting the generation of soot. There were some drawbacks such as:

Therefore, this invention was made with the aim of minimizing soot generation when igniting a pot burner, bringing it closer to complete combustion, and realizing clean combustion. By arranging multiple bundled or twisted thin rope-like wicks at intervals in the horizontal direction, the flame formed on the wick after ignition is divided into small pieces to mix with air. To provide an ignition device that can prevent the flame from suddenly increasing and minimize soot generation during ignition by balancing the suction capacity of the suction wick and the flame. ing.

An embodiment is shown in FIG. 4. A heater coil 4 made of a heating wire wound in a coil shape is attached to an insulating stone 3. Two suction cores 8 are arranged on a support plate 5 at a distance from each other in the horizontal direction. The suction core 8 is fixed as shown in FIG.
and the heater coil 4 are fixed to the insulating stone 3 so as to maintain a constant interval. The wick 8 has a thin rope-like structure by bundling or twisting a plurality of thin heat-resistant wires 8a, 8b, 8c, . . . . The kerosene supplied to the pot burner is sucked up by capillary action along the gaps between the thin wires 8a, 8b, 8c, etc. of the wick 8, and is ignited by the heating of the heater coil 4 to form a flame. A flame surface 10 is formed on the outside of the vapor part 9 of kerosene vaporized from the wick 8, and air flows further outside the flame surface 10 as shown by the arrow, and the flame 10 that is formed is also 2.
Since the wick 7 is divided into strips, the flame becomes small and mixes well with air. Since the wick 8 is divided into two thin rope-shaped strips with a space between them, the flame formed is divided into small pieces, the contact area between the flame surface 10 and the air is increased, and the contact and mixing of the flame and air is prevented. As the wick 8 is made into a rope shape made by bundling or twisting multiple thin wires, the kerosene is wicked up by capillary action. Even when the capacity is limited to some extent and the wick 8 is heated by the flame formed in the wick 8, the amount of vaporized kerosene from the wick 8 does not increase significantly, and therefore the wick The flame formed at 8 did not become large, and there was no shortage of air supply to the flame.
Since very little soot is generated, there is less environmental pollution, and the combustor is not clogged with soot, improving the durability of the combustor.

Although the present invention has been specifically described above based on one embodiment, the present invention is not limited to this embodiment.
It may be in the form of a book rope, or as shown in FIG. 7, three ropes may be arranged in parallel at intervals.
