However, in this pipe connecting device, there is a risk that the rubber string will come into contact with the end of the pipe and be worn out, and the elastic force of the rubber string itself is small, so the rubber string does not contribute to improving the connection strength. Ta.

The pipe connecting device according to this invention connects the pipes by fixing a fitting rod to the end of a first pipe and fitting the fitting rod into the end of a second pipe. A slidable sliding piece is inserted into the end of the pipe, and this sliding piece is connected to the fitting rod via a connector, and the sliding piece is directed into the second pipe by a spring. This causes the spring to draw the fitting rod into the second pipe through the sliding piece and the coupling when the ends of the pipes are placed opposite each other, thereby causing the pipe to The fitting rod and sliding piece are designed to facilitate assembly, prevent the fitting rod from being pulled out of the second pipe, and allow the coupling to rotate around a rotation axis perpendicular to the pipe axis. At the same time, the distance between the two rotation axes is made larger than the sum of the radii of both pipes, so that both pipes can be folded into a parallel state to improve storage efficiency. A concave part is formed in the connector which is smoothly recessed in the direction of rotation of the connector, and the pipe is fitted and disassembled while guiding the connector through this recess, thereby making it easier to fit and disassemble the pipe. .

This fitting rod 5 can be fitted into the pipe 2 with almost no gaps, and its length is set to be sufficient to fit and connect the pipes 1 and 2 with the required strength. A sliding piece 6 made of a solid synthetic resin rod is slidably fitted into the end of the pipe 2, and a bolt 7 is inserted into the sliding piece 6.
are screwed together. The bolt 7 extends from the sliding piece 6 toward the inside of the pipe 2 along the axis of the pipe 2, and has a head 8 formed at its inner end. bolt 7
passes through a support piece 9 fixed in the pipe 2 by caulking with a gap, and a spring 10 is interposed between the head 8 and the support piece 9. The spring 10 presses the head 8 toward the inside of the pipe 2 via the washer 11, and as a result, an inward biasing force acts on the sliding piece 6 via the bolt 7.
The support piece 9 is fixed in the pipe 2 at a position deeper than the sum of the length of the fitting rod 5 protruding from the pipe 1 and the length of the sliding piece 6, and the ends of the pipes 1 and 2 are opposed to each other. When this happens, the spring 10 pulls the sliding piece 6 and the protruding portion of the fitting rod 5 into the pipe 2. The long push stroke of the spring 10 is set so that it retains elasticity even after such retraction, and the spring 10 not only retracts the fitting rod 5 into the pipe 2 but also prevents the subsequent fitting rod from retracting. It also contributes to preventing No. 5 from slipping out.

It is rotatably attached to piece 6. The connector 12 is connected to the fitting rod 5
It is inserted into a slit at the tip of the sliding piece 6, and is pivotally supported within this slit by a rivet 13, which extends perpendicularly to the axes of the pipes 1 and 2. Therefore, when the pipes 1, 2 are disassembled, both pipes 1, 2 can be folded.
The gap between the rivets 13 and 13 is made larger than the sum of the radii of both the pipes 1 and 2, so that when the pipes 1 and 2 are folded, both the pipes 1 and 2 can be folded until they become parallel. This can improve pipe storage efficiency during disassembly.

る。 The connector 12 is formed into a substantially pot-shaped shape, and a recess 14 that is smoothly recessed in the rotational direction of the connector 12 is symmetrically formed in the center between the rivets 13, 13. As shown in FIG. 3, when the pipes 1 and 2 are being fitted or disassembled, the recess 14 comes into contact with the end surface of the pipe 2, and the connector 1
2 is smoothly guided in the recess 14. This allows the pipes 1 and 2 to be fitted together and disassembled smoothly.

Even if the connector 12 is made of another material, it is not necessary that the connector itself has elasticity, so it is easy to select a material that can increase the durability of the connector. Also, the spring 8 is the connector 1
2 and can be set to a sufficiently large size within the range that fits within the pipe 2, so that the retracting force and holding force of the fitting rod 3 can be sufficiently increased.

As mentioned above, the pipe connecting device according to this invention fixes the fitting rod to the end of the first pipe,
This fitting rod is fitted into the end of the second pipe to connect the pipes, and a slidable piece is fitted into the end of the second pipe, and this sliding piece is connected. The sliding piece is connected to the fitting rod through a tool, and the sliding piece is biased toward the inside of the second pipe by a spring, so that when the ends of both pipes are placed opposite each other, the sliding piece is moved. one piece, the spring pulls the fitting rod into the second pipe through the coupling;
This facilitates pipe assembly, prevents the insertion rod from being pulled out of the second pipe, and allows the coupling to be rotated about an axis of rotation perpendicular to the pipe axis. It is connected to the fitting rod and sliding piece, and the distance between both rotation axes is made larger than the sum of the radii of both pipes, so that both pipes can be folded into a parallel state to improve storage efficiency. A recess is formed in the center between the rotation axes that is smoothly recessed in the direction of rotation of the connector, and this recess guides the connector while fitting and disassembling the pipe, which also improves the fit of the pipe. , making disassembly work easier. Furthermore, since a coupling device separate from the spring is used, durability and connection strength can be increased.
