(Prior art and its problems) As shown in Figure 2, overhead power transmission and distribution lines (2) and electrical equipment such as pole transformers are protected from ingress of induced lightning. An overhead ground wire (1) is provided at the L part of the arrester (3), and the high voltage side of the arrester (3) is connected to the overhead power transmission/distribution line (2) via the connection lead wire (4). A method is used in which the ground side of the arrester is connected to the ground electrode (6) via the arrester ground wire (5). However, in this type of lightning protection method, after the lightning surge that has entered the overhead power transmission and distribution line (2) reaches the arrester (3) and the arrester (3) is activated, all the lightning surge current flows to the arrester grounding wire (5). Therefore, there was a problem in that it was not possible to sufficiently reduce the potential rise in distribution lines caused by lightning surges.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The present invention solves the above-mentioned problems (~, provides a lightning protection method that significantly reduces potential rise. This is characterized in that the ground side of the arrester is connected to a ground electrode and also to an overhead ground wire.

(Function) After the arrester operates, the lightning surge current is shunted to the overhead ground wire, so the current flowing through the arrester ground wire is smaller compared to the conventional method, which increases the potential of the arrester ground wire due to lightning surges and furthermore reduces the potential of the arrester ground wire and the distribution line. It is possible to reduce potential rise.

(Example) FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating an example of the lightning protection method according to the present invention. In this figure, the difference from the conventional example shown in FIG. 2 is that the ground side of the arrester (3) is connected to the overhead ground wire (1) by a lead wire (8). As mentioned above, the arrester (
By connecting the ground side of 3) to the overhead ground wire (]),
When a lightning surge that exceeds the set voltage of the arrester (3) enters the overhead power transmission/distribution line (2), the arrester (3) is activated and the lightning surge current is transferred to the arrester grounding wire (5) and then to the arrester (8).
As a result, the potential rise in the overhead power transmission and distribution line (2) due to lightning surges can be significantly reduced compared to the system shown in FIG. 2, and the power transmission and distribution line and electrical equipment can be sufficiently protected.

As a result of calculating the potential increase using the method shown in the figure, it was confirmed that the potential increase was reduced to about 60% compared to the method shown in FIG.

Furthermore, in the lightning protection method of the present invention, the arrester grounding wire (5
), grounding lead wire (5a), and lead wire (8) with low inductance, for example, as shown in Figures 3 (a) and (b).
If a flat insulated wire (10) equipped with a copper tape conductor (9) as shown in FIG. 1 is used, the effect of reducing potential rise will be further increased.

(Effects of the Invention) According to the lightning protection method of the present invention described above, the arrester (3)
The grounding side of the arrester (3) is also connected to the overhead grounding wire (1), so after the arrester (3) operates, the lightning surge current flows through the arrester grounding wire (
5) and the lead wire (8), and compared to the conventional system shown in Figure 2, it has the effect of reducing the potential increase by 1" caused by lightning surges in the overhead power transmission and distribution line (2) to approximately 60%, and The power transmission and distribution line (2) and electrical equipment can be sufficiently protected, and the reliability of the power transmission and distribution line is significantly improved.
