It is desired that the number of hits be as small as possible. Here, the playing distance is fixed, so if you want to get a good score, it is advantageous to get as much distance as possible with one hit.

Examples include carbon shafts and aluminum alloy shafts. However, these clubs that use monthly profits have drawbacks in terms of price, durability, fatigue resistance, etc. Especially in the case of carbon shaft I~, the shaft is twisted and has excessive flexibility, making it difficult to hit the ball. I couldn't deny the accuracy of the club face.

We focused on the possibility of improving club head speed.

This causes the shaft to vibrate minutely. This vibration changes the trajectory A' of the head into a waveform as shown in Figure 2,
It has been found that this waveform vibration acts as a brake on speed and causes the sweet spot to be misaligned when hitting the ball.

This is to prevent alternating forces from being generated on the shaft.

This spiral protrusion 2 disturbs the flow of air fluid around the shift lift 1, inhibits the generation of steady Karman vortices, causes the shaft to move, reduces lift fluctuations, and minimizes the occurrence of shaft wobbling. be.

The shaft speed was varied by using a 1.0 mm pipe and a sample 1 in which plastic wires of the respective wire diameters shown in Fig. 4 were spirally wound around the outer periphery of the pipe to form spiral protrusions on the surface. At least lift C
This is the result of measuring L. Although there are differences in the effect depending on the wire diameter of the wound wire, it is clearly seen that the lift force is reduced to one-tenth or less compared to a case in which spiral wire is not wound. If the lift force is significantly reduced in this way, the force that forces the club shaft to move will also be significantly reduced, and when the club is swung, the vibrations shown in Figure 2 will not occur, and the vibrations shown in Figure 3 will not occur. As shown, it draws an extremely smooth head trajectory.

The winding wire is also made of plastic because it prevents the generation of Karman vortices. It is not limited to tick wire. It may be aluminum, copper, steel or other metal wire, and instead of winding a separate wire, a part of the surface of the shaft 11 is processed when the shaft itself is manufactured. A spiral protrusion may be molded onto the outer peripheral surface, or a spiral protrusion may be formed on the surface by welding, overlaying, or the like.

There aren't many people. Approximately, it is better to set the diameter to 715 or more of the diameter of the shaft, and the upper limit is less than 1/2 because it is undesirable for the appearance if it is too thick, and a winding pitch of about 30 to 5 Qmm will give good results. be.

。Furthermore, when considering winding a plastic wire as in the above embodiment, the plastic wire is made of a heat-shrinkable material F'l, and the plastic wire is roughly wrapped and then heated. The winding process is simple if the wire is contracted to achieve a tight winding. Alternatively, the conventional wire wrappings may be glued together with a post-adhesive agent.

Since the ball does not cause sharp shooting and there is no fluctuation in the head trajectory caused by shaft vibration, it is possible to draw an extremely stable and accurate circumferential speed with high head speed, increasing the flight distance of the ball. Not only that, but it also allows you to hit the pole accurately with the sweet spot, and it can be said to be a part of the world of golf as it greatly contributes to improving scores.
