(2) Prior art and problems A signal supplier that supplies signals such as dial pulses and clock pulses in a telephone exchange and a load that receives signals such as dial pulses from this signal supplier improve reliability and increase redundancy. Therefore, a load-balanced signal supply system is adopted.
In such signal supply systems, duplication as shown in FIG. 1 has been used as a method of increasing redundancy. In Figure 1, 1a, 1a', 1b,
1b'...1n, 1n' are signal suppliers, 2a,
2b,..., 2n are loads. However, the system shown in FIG. 1 has the disadvantage that the system size is approximately doubled, resulting in a large-scale system because the load is distributed. In addition, in each duplex device,
Even if a failure occurs and the system is switched, there is no guarantee that the backup system will operate normally, and therefore it is necessary to periodically check the operation of the backup system.

The gist of the present invention is that the signal supply device 3a,
3b,...3n are provided with a terminal that displays its own status and two terminals that monitor the other party's status, and by connecting these to each other, when a failure occurs, the load device of the signal supply device that has caused the failure can be connected to another normal This allows the signal supply device to be shared. Sharing is prohibited if signal suppliers that monitor each other fail at the same time. In Fig. 2, if a failure occurs in the i-th signal supply device, the load i that was receiving signal supply from now on is normal i-1.
Each system is connected in a ring shape so that the th (nth when i=0) signal supply device can be shared.

FIG. 3 shows a block diagram of each internal part of the signal supply device of FIG. 2. In FIG. 3, reference numeral 11 denotes a signal generator, the output of which is supplied to each load via a gate circuit group 12, and the generated signal is sent to an abnormality detector 13. The abnormality detector 13 monitors the generated signal for abnormality and outputs "1" if the signal is normal, and outputs "0" if it is abnormal. When an abnormality occurs in its own signal generator 11, a message indicating that a failure has occurred is outputted to the STS terminal via the gate circuit 15. Further, when there is an input from the HLD terminal, the input is applied to the gate circuit group 12 via the gate circuit 14, and sharing of the output with the signal supplier being monitored is prohibited. If the own signal generator is normal, if a "1" signal is input from another faulty signal supply circuit to the FSEN terminal via its STS terminal, the output of the gate circuit 16 becomes "1" and the gate is closed. The circuit group 17 activates the FS terminal and supplies its output to the load corresponding to the other faulty signal supplier.

(6) Effects of the Invention As explained in detail above, one embodiment of the present invention has the effect that redundancy can be increased without increasing the number of packages in a load-balanced signal supply system. . Furthermore, compared to the conventional system in which each device is duplicated and system switching is performed in the event of a failure, the system of the present invention is highly reliable because the switching supply is performed from the operating device.
