CONSTITUTION:A printing head 6 is stopped at a position where a fixed number of pulses 9 are sent further from the position at which the output of a home sensor 11 is reversed from off to on. When an initializing instruction is received, whether a value K of an address counter 17 is shifted from an initial value N by not less than two is judged by a comparator 18.
