水量を表示するフロートを備えた水量表示装置を
有する電気湯沸器に於いて、水量表示管１５の上
部に水量検知部７を構成する発光素子７１及び、
発光素子７１からの光を受光し動作する受光素子
７２を対向して配置し、又水量表示管１５内にフ
ロート１４の上昇抑止用のジヨイント１６を設け
、更に水量検知部７からの出力を制御素子９に入
力し、その出力に湯沸用発熱体１を制御する湯沸
用リレードライバー６と警告ランプ１３あるいは
ブザー８を接続し、又制御素子９に前記受光素子
７２の受光信号のしや断時に前記湯沸用リレード
ライバー６を介して湯沸用発熱体１をＯＦＦさせ
ると共に、警告ランプ１３あるいはブザー８によ
り報知する機能を持たしめたことを特徴とする電
