キユレートを多孔質のフイルタによつて捕捉して
排気ガス中から除去するようにした装置において
、排気ガスの流れを制御する回転板を前記フイル
タの前方に配設し、前記フイルタの中心部にパテ
イキユレートが集中しないように前記回転板で排
気ガスの流れを制御するとともに、前記フイルタ
で捕捉されたパテイキユレートを再燃焼させる際
に回転板を回転させてその姿勢を変化させ、前記
フイルタの中心部における排気ガスの流量を増大
させるようにしたことを特徴とするパテイキユレ
