Various types of ceiling lining materials for automobiles have been proposed in the past, including those using polyethylene foam, but polyethylene foam is inferior in terms of rigidity and self-supporting properties. However, the stability of the shape was poor, and it was difficult to roughly shape the shape in advance to fit the ceiling of the automobile. For this reason, it has been proposed to bond polyethylene foam with metal lath to maintain its shape, but this tends to lack integrity as a lining material, is cumbersome to manufacture, and is not easy to work with. It wasn't something. Furthermore, as a ceiling lining material for automobiles, it is required to pass a heat resistance test of 80 degrees Celsius or higher, and it must not impede weight reduction, be safe as a ceiling lining material, and maintain appropriate stiffness. It was necessary that there was no such thing.

そこで、この考案においては、上記諸点に鑑み

Therefore, in this invention, we have attempted to provide a material suitable for automobile ceiling lining materials in view of the above points, and its composition is such that a non-woven material made of polypropylene or ethylene-propylene copolymer is coated on both sides of a foam made of polypropylene. Foam sheet base materials are laminated, one base material is laminated with a polyurethane foam, and a skin material such as cloth, PVC sheet, PVC leather, etc. is laminated on the polyurethane foam, and the above-mentioned It is characterized by having a large number of through holes formed in the polypropylene foam and non-foamed sheet base material.

Numerous through holes 10, 10' and 20 are formed in the non-foamed sheet base materials 1, 1' and the polypropylene foam 2 to determine sound absorption properties, and in the case of circular holes, the diameter is approximately 0.1 to 5 mm. It has a large size, which helps improve the sound absorption of the entire ceiling lining material and enhances the sound silencing effect. In particular, since there are no metal parts, it is extremely easy to form the through holes.

The automobile ceiling lining material of this invention is constructed as described above, and is installed and used with the skin material 4 side facing the inside of the vehicle. 2. The base material 1' and the polyurethane foam 3 are followed by a structure in which non-foamed materials and foamed materials are alternately arranged, so that appropriate elasticity and stiffness can be appropriately distributed, and the laminate can be used as a laminate. It has a good balance and prevents it from becoming too hard or too soft. Furthermore, in the case of the above structure, the polypropylene foam 2 has greater rigidity than the polyethylene foam even if it is a high-magnification foam, has excellent self-supporting properties, is easy to mold, and can be easily formed on both sides of the polypropylene foam. The laminated base material made of non-foamed sheets can fully exhibit the shape-retaining effect of the foam layer, and can be roughly shaped in advance to suit the interior ceiling of the car. The sheet base materials 1 and 1' have greater rigidity and excellent self-supporting properties, and can be preformed with precise shape adaptability to sufficiently cover the general molding of the foam. So,
It has an appropriate stiffness and maintains its overall shape very easily, making it even easier to attach it to the ceiling of a car, significantly improving workability, and making it possible to provide an inexpensive product. Both base materials 1 and 1' made of polypropylene or ethylene-propylene copolymer and foam 2 made of polypropylene have better heat resistance than polyethylene foam, and have heat resistance of about 90°C to 150°C, so they can withstand extreme heat. It can sufficiently withstand heat transfer from the outside during the heat transfer period, and can also enhance the heat insulation effect from the outside of the vehicle. In addition, a polyurethane foam 3 is formed on the lower layer of the base material 1', and together with the polypropylene foam 2 and the numerous through holes formed in the non-foamed sheet base materials 1 and 1', it has sound absorbing properties. In addition to being advantageous in improving the sound damping effect, it is also expected to be particularly excellent in overall weight reduction and to have an excellent cushioning effect, in conjunction with the polypropylene foam 1 described above.

Therefore, it is a suitable product as a laminated type automotive ceiling lining material and can exhibit excellent practical effects. In addition, since it does not have metal parts, it has the advantage that it can be easily disposed of as a ceiling lining material for automobiles after the car is scrapped.
