  1. ステアリングホイールとステアリングギヤボツ
    クスとを接続するステアリングシヤフトに歯車変
    速機を配設してなる車両用ステアリング装置にお
    いて、前記変速機として同速モードと増速モード
    に切換可能なプラネタリギヤ式歯車変速機を採用
    するとともに、同変速機が増速モードにあるとき
    前記ステアリングホイールの操作力に応じて同変
    速機の一回転要素に回転付勢力を付与するアシス
    トアクチユエータを設けたことを特徴とする車両
    用ステアリング装置。
