Each edge of the open section side of the bumper cover, which is formed to cover the bumper main body made of a cushioning material, is bent toward each flange part of the bumper reinforcement to integrally form the mounting flange part with the bumper cover. In the bumper structure in which each mounting flange portion of the cover is fixed to each flange portion of the bumper reinforcement via a retainer, the retainer includes each mounting flange portion of the bumper cover and each of the bumper reinforcements. A plurality of claws are formed to be inserted into the respective insertion holes formed in the flange portions, and each claw portion of the retainer is inserted into each mounting flange portion of the bumper cover and each flange portion of the bumper reinforcement. A bumper structure characterized in that the bumper cover is fixed to the bumper reinforcement via a retainer by being inserted into and locked in each of the insertion holes.
