Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A photochromic layer comprising an indolespironaphthoxazine of the formula (where R1-3 are each lower alkyl; X1-2 are each H, OH, lower alkoxy or halogen; X3-4 are each H, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, halogen, nitro or cyano) which is an organic compound having a spiro carbon atom is formed on the inside, the outside or both sides, or in the inner part of a colorless or colored transparent reflecting plate which reflects a display image, for example, as a film 7 made by dissolving the spiro compound in a high-molecular matrix or by bonding a film 8 containing the spiro compound through an adhesive layer 9 or as a layer 10 impregnated with the spiro compound.
