As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a conventional seat back frame for a seat has an upper frame line 1 made of a single metal wire around the entire circumference, and clips 2 are attached to this upper frame line 1.
The S-shaped spring 3 was swaged and tensioned, and a fitting mouth 4 was formed and fixed to the frame 5. 6 is a pad placed on the upper frame line.
Although such a configuration has excellent characteristics against lateral loads and is preferable for the seater, it also has the following drawbacks, and there is room for improvement. That is, the production cost is high to form the fish mouse 4, which poses a cost problem, and furthermore, the work of attaching the fish mouse 4 to the upper frame line 1 and the frame 5 requires troublesome work and skill. Furthermore, in this configuration, the upper frame line 1 is also located near the hip bone, which has the disadvantage that the occupant feels a foreign body when sitting down.

In addition, as shown in Figures 3 and 4, there is another type of conventional pad that has the upper frame line 1 inserted into the pad 6 and is low cost, lightweight, and easy to assemble. Now, the S-shaped spring described above has the disadvantage that it does not provide sufficient side support performance compared to the type that holds the sides of the upper frame line, that is, the fourth
There was a drawback that the side portions of the upper frame line 1 easily followed the lateral load in the direction of the arrow in the figure, causing the seat back to deform significantly as shown by the chain line.

Therefore, in view of the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional seat upper frame structure, this invention has been developed to take advantage of the advantages of the padded insert type upper frame line, while providing side support equivalent to the type in which the sides of the upper frame line are held by S-shaped springs. It is an object of the present invention to provide an upper frame line structure that has high performance and excellent surface cushioning properties.

As shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, in the present invention, the upper frame line 7 is inserted into the pad 6, and the upper frame line 1 is aligned with the frame 5, and the structure is as follows. . That is, the upper part of the frame 5a
An upper upper frame line 7a that runs close to the upper frame line 7a, a side upper frame line 7b that is curved upward from the upper upper frame line 7a along both side parts 5b of the frame, and side upper frame line bodies on both sides. First support portions A and B, whose lower portions are extended internally and downward, and further bent and extended to the outside of the frame both side portions 5b to face and intersect adjacent to the frame side portions 5b; A second support portion is bent and extended inwardly from both side portions 5b of the frame at an extended position in the middle of the upper side frame line 7b, and is connected in series by crossing opposite sides of the side portions 5b of the frame. C and D are continuously formed on the upper frame line of the side.

Due to the configuration of the upper frame line, the side upper frame line 7b is held by the rigid frame side parts 5b at the support parts A, B, C, and D, and the first support part A,
B is given a fish mouse shape formed by an internal downward extension of the continuous upper frame line 7b. Therefore, even if a lateral load is applied to the side upper frame line 7b, the side upper frame line 7b does not easily follow, and the side upper frame line 7b is given support rigidity with an appropriate deflection force. It will be done. In addition, a tensile force acts on the support part on the side upper frame line 7b side that receives the lateral load, but since the second support parts C and D are continuous, the support part on the other side This prevents the entire seat back from tilting significantly toward the lateral load side when a reaction force is generated, and the load can be distributed by the first and second support parts A, B, C, and D when the occupant is seated. Improves cushioning properties. Furthermore, since the pads 6 are interposed between the support portions A, B, C, and D and the frame side portion 5b, no abnormal noise is generated due to metal contact.

Furthermore, the shape of the seat back is given a cross-sectional deformation as shown in FIG. 5 in order to improve its fit to the human body and from the viewpoint of design. As a result, the skin 8 is made to conform to the shape of the seat back, and the pad 6 has the skin 8 and a retractable insert. However, in the case of the above-mentioned upper frame line structure, the continuous part of the upper upper frame line 7a and the second support parts C and D is used as an insert wire for retracting the epidermis, as shown in Fig. 5. Can be used for both purposes.

In addition, since the lower part of the side upper frame line 7b is not continuous across the frame both sides 5b, there is no feeling of a foreign body near the waist, and the side upper frame line 7b is supported by the support parts A, B, C, and D. Since sufficient support rigidity can be obtained for the load at the time, the lower part of the side upper frame line 7b is not placed near the waist, saving material and reducing weight compared to the conventional upper frame line shown by the chain line in Fig. 5. It is also possible to aim for

FIG. 8 is a schematic diagram showing the main parts of another embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, the support section I,
In addition to (B), (C), and (D), both the corner parts where the upper part upper frame line 7a and the upper part of the side upper frame line 7b are continuous are bent from the outside to the inside of the frame upper part 5a and the frame side part 5b, Third support parts E and F are formed in the frame upper part 5a and the frame side part 5b so as to face each other and intersect with each other.

In this embodiment, support parts E and F are also formed on the upper side of the side upper frame line 7b, so that the support rigidity against lateral loads is increased to the side upper frame line 7b compared to the first embodiment. can be given.

Although the above description has been made assuming that the second support part of the upper frame line 7 is connected, it may be divided between both side parts of the frame. Further, although the present invention has been explained using an embodiment of a seat bag, it is also applicable to a seat cushion.

As explained above, in the present invention, in a seat in which an upper frame line is inserted into the pad along the seat frame, a support part is formed that is continuous with the side upper frame line and is close to and crosses the seat frame.
Even if it is a padded insert type seat, sufficient side support performance and good surface cushioning performance can be obtained, and there is no abnormal noise or foreign body sensation, and the upper frame line can also serve as a wire for pulling in the skin. It can be done.
