Conventionally, in order to make signs, mark patterns, symbols, characters, etc. on the sides of automobiles, airplanes, etc., it was necessary to directly mark patterns, symbols, characters, etc.
Apply paint with a brush, press a stencil, paper pattern, or other material with the mark part cut out and apply brush or spray paint, or apply a wide strip of masking tape and write the mark on the back. There is a method of painting the space after cutting it out. Direct painting with a brush requires a great deal of effort and skill in order to achieve a beautiful finish. Furthermore, the method of using a molded material has drawbacks such as displacement of the molded material and the blurring of the outline due to seepage of the paint unless the molded material is sufficiently pressed and fixed against the material to be painted. Another major problem is that, for example, in the case of the O mark, in order to prevent the central part from falling off, a thin bridge must be built to connect the central part, and the mark at that bridge part disappears. In addition, in the method using adhesive tape for masking,
It takes a lot of effort to adhere to the entire signboard, etc. to be marked, and the signboard, etc. may be damaged by cutting with a knife, etc., and if the front side of the car is painted. However, when removing the masking adhesive tape, this paint was sometimes peeled off.

In order to deal with these problems, the inventors conducted intensive research and found that these problems could be solved by the transfer method. That is, instead of directly painting a mark on a signboard, the side of a car, etc., the mark is previously painted on a temporary base material and then transferred onto the signboard, etc.

However, untreated paper as a temporary base material,
If cloth, plastic film, etc. are used, the mark coating develops sufficient adhesive strength and cannot be removed and cannot be transferred. One method is to coat the surface of the base material with a surface inert substance such as silicone resin to make it easier to peel off, but these inert surfaces have poor affinity with paints, inks, etc. ,
The ink itself does not adhere, and water-based paints in particular become drop-like and do not flow, which has the disadvantage that good marks cannot be painted.

As a result of further intensive research, the inventors of the present invention discovered that if the base material is coated with an adhesive, the marking can be applied well, and it can also be removed and transferred.
The present invention has now been completed.

The adhesive layer 2 is made of an adhesive such as a rubber adhesive or an acrylic rubber adhesive, and is coated on one side of the base material 1 and firmly adhered thereto. In particular, a rubber adhesive is preferred because it has little affinity with the coating layer 4. The adhesion force of the adhesive layer 2 on the side of the mold material 3 is preferably light, and the peel adhesion force (180° peeling method) is 50 g/cm to 300 g/cm.
g/cm is preferable, especially 50 g/cm to 150 g/cm.
g/cm is preferred. If the adhesive strength of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2 is too low, the mold material 3 may peel off or become misaligned when the coating layer 4 is formed by spray painting, brush painting, or the like. The adhesive layer 2 can be appropriately lipophilic or hydrophilic, and its surface can be coated with various paints and inks.

It is preferable that the mold material 3 exhibits light adhesion to the adhesive layer 2, while the other surface has removability to the extent that the paint ink and the adhesive liquid forming the adhesive layer 5 do not stick to it. That is, the mold material 3 is preferably a substrate made of paper, cloth, plastic film, etc., which has been subjected to a peeling treatment on one or both sides with a surface inert agent such as polyethylene film or silicone resin. The template 3 may be one in which the transfer mark portion is cut out in advance, or it may be attached to the adhesive layer 2 and then the transfer mark portion may be cut out and peeled off.

The coating layer 4 is formed on the adhesive layer 2 in the blank transfer mark portion cut out from above the mold material 3 by spray coating, roller coating, brush coating, or the like. In this case, if the surface of the mold material 3 has been subjected to a peeling treatment, the paint will not adhere to the mold material 3 but only to the surface of the adhesive layer 2 in the transfer mark area.
Extremely effective. As the paint forming the coating layer 4, various paints such as water-based, oil-based, emulsion-based, solution-based, and plastisol paints, which are generally used for mark painting, are used, such as acrylic ester paints, acrylic-styrene emulsions, etc. Paints and the like are preferably used. In particular, when the adhesive layer 2 is made of a rubber adhesive, an acrylic ester paint is used, and when the adhesive layer 2 is made of an acrylic rubber adhesive, an acrylic-styrene emulsion paint is used.
It is preferable because it has no compatibility with the adhesive layer 2. Paint layer 4
Although the thickness varies depending on the application, a thickness of about 10 to 30 μm is appropriate in order to prevent peeling due to contact, tampering, etc.

The adhesive layer 5 is further formed by applying an adhesive liquid onto the coating layer 4 from above the mold material 3 using a bar coat or the like. In this case as well, if the surface of the mold material 3 is subjected to a release treatment, the adhesive liquid will adhere only to the coating layer 4, which is extremely effective. The adhesive used for the adhesive layer 5 is one that has greater adhesive strength than the adhesive layer 2 and does not adversely affect the coating layer 4, such as a rubber adhesive, an acrylic adhesive, etc. can be used, but emulsion-type acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesives are particularly preferred because they do not cause the coating layer 4 to swell. In particular, if an acrylic ester adhesive is used, the adhesive layer 5 can withstand long-term outdoor exposure.
is obtained, which is preferable. The adhesive strength of the adhesive layer 5 is 300 g/cm ~ in terms of peel adhesive strength (180° peeling method).
1000g/cm is preferable, especially 500g/cm~1000
g/cm is preferred. The thickness of the adhesive layer 5 is as follows:
The thinner the coating layer 4 is, the more preferable it is so that it does not protrude when transferred, and the thickness is desirably about 10 to 15 .mu.m so that it will not peel off due to contact or tampering.

As shown in FIG. 2, the transfer sheet or tape of the present invention is brought into contact with the object 7 to be marked, such as a signboard, and pressed from the back side of the base material 1 to transfer the adhesive layer 5 to the object to be marked. After adhering to body 7, base material 1
By peeling off the mold material 3, a beautiful mark made of the coating film layer 4 is transferred and formed on the mark transfer object 7. At this time, it is preferable that the thickness of the mold material 3 is greater than the thickness of the coating film layer 4 and the adhesive layer 5, since it can be slid on the mark transfer object 7 at the time of transfer marking, and positioning is facilitated. . Alternatively, the adhesive layer 5 and the coating layer 4 may be transferred to the mark transfer target body 7 after the mold material 3 is peeled off first.

The transfer sheet or tape of the present invention may be used after being temporarily stored or inspected, corrected, calibrated, transported, etc. For transportation, it is convenient to roll it up into a roll by wrapping it around a core material. To make a roll, if the mold material 3 is thicker than the coating layer 4 and the adhesive layer 5, it may be rolled up as it is, or if the mold release layer 6 is provided on the back side of the base material 1, it may be rolled up as it is. It can be rolled up, or it can be rolled up after peeling off the mold material 3.
