However, in the past, in order to thermally insulate the inside of the refrigerator and the condenser pipe, the shape of the flange on the outer box was complicated and various parts were added.
This requires time to manufacture and assemble the outer box, resulting in poor productivity and, furthermore, complete insulation cannot be achieved. Additionally, after completing the assembly of the insulating box, a sealant is applied to the contact surface between the flange of the inner box and the flange of the outer box, and then the excess sealant is removed. These operations are extremely troublesome in the manufacturing process of this type of insulated box, and are not only inefficient but also detract from the aesthetic appearance.Furthermore, depending on the machining accuracy of the outer and inner boxes, there may be a gap between the flanges. Due to variations in the gaps between the refrigerators, it is not possible to completely seal them with the sealant, and the condenser pipe exchanges heat with the inside of the refrigerator, reducing the dew prevention effect, and the heat load on the refrigerator increases accordingly, reducing performance. This also had the disadvantage of making things worse.

This proposal was made in view of these points,
Embodiments of the present invention shown in the drawings will be described in detail below. Reference numeral 1 denotes a heat insulating box body composed of an outer box 2, an inner box 3, and a heat insulating material 4 filled between the two boxes 2 and 3, and is equipped with various devices necessary for cooling the inside of the refrigerator.
Reference numeral 5 denotes a flange portion extending inwardly formed around the entire circumference of the front opening edge of the outer box 2, which forms a double structure by folding inward, and a groove portion by bending its tip into a shape. 6, and furthermore, a dogleg-shaped engaging portion 7 is continuously provided at the tip thereof. 8 is a capacitor pipe arranged for the purpose of preventing dew exposure, and is press-fitted into the ]-shaped groove 6 of the outer box 2. Reference numeral 9 denotes a flange portion extending outwardly formed around the entire circumference of the front opening edge of the inner box 3, which contacts the inner surface of the flange portion 5 of the outer box 2, and whose tip portion is bent backward to close the closing portion 10. none,
Its edge is engaged with the bent portion of the engaging portion 7. The closing portion 10 closes the opening of the groove portion 6 and brings the condenser pipe 8 into pressure contact with the outer box 2 side. 1
Reference numeral 1 denotes a recess formed all around the front surface of the flange portion 9 of the inner box 3. A sealant 12 is put into the recess 11 in a slightly larger amount, and the sealant 12 is used to tightly adhere both the flange portions 5 and 9. It is something.

The insulating box 1 is assembled as follows. First, after press-fitting the condenser pipe 8 into the groove 6 of the outer box 2, a sealant 12 is applied to the recess 11.
The inner box 3 is inserted into the outer box 2 from the rear with the inner box 3 inserted, and the flange part 9 is pressed into contact with the back surface of the flange part 5, and the edge of the closing part 10 is engaged with the engaging part 7.

In this operation, the sealant 12 placed in the recess 11 to press the flange 9 into contact with the back surface of the flange 5 spreads between the two flanges 5 and 9, bringing them into close contact. Now, if there is a gap between the flanges 5 and 9 due to problems with machining accuracy, the flanges 5 and 9 are brought into close contact with the sealant 12 in a press contact state, that is, with no gap. Therefore, no gap is created between the flanges 5 and 9. By being able to reliably seal between the flanges 5 and 9 in this way, the condenser pipe 8 and the inside of the refrigerator are thermally insulated, and the effect of preventing dew formation due to heat exchange between the condenser pipe 8 and the cold air inside the refrigerator is reduced. Problems such as increased heat load on the refrigerator are resolved.

Furthermore, since the sealant 12 is placed in the recess 11 formed in the flange portion 9, the sealant 12
It becomes possible to automate the work of inserting the inner box 3, and by incorporating it into the automatic insertion process of the inner box 3, it is possible to significantly improve productivity.

According to the present invention having the above structure, the flange portion of the outer box and the flange portion of the inner box can be brought into close contact with each other, and the condenser pipe and the inside of the refrigerator can be thermally insulated sufficiently. It is possible to reliably prevent a decrease in the prevention effect, an increase in the heat load on the refrigerator, etc., and there is no need to complicate the shape of the flange or add various parts, which is extremely convenient.

In addition, it is possible to automate the application of sealant and incorporate it into the automatic insertion process of the inner box, which not only greatly improves productivity, but also eliminates the drawbacks that occur in the conventional method of applying sealant after assembly is completed. It is very practical and helps to solve the problem.
