For example, as shown in FIG. 1, in an automobile air conditioner comprising a heater unit 1 with a built-in blower and heater core, a defroster device such as a defroster duct 2, a defroster nozzle 3, etc., the defroster duct 2 and the defroster nozzle 3 are generally connected to each other. Naturally, this is done by fitting (see Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 47-30353).

However, if the end of the joint between the duct 2 and nozzle 3 is cut with a cutting tool such as a circular saw in a separate process after molding, as shown in Figure 2A, there is no problem in terms of ventilation resistance. However, if a measure is adopted in which the end faces are cut with a knife during the waiting time of the molding process (waiting time until hardening) of the duct 2 and nozzle 3 in order to save the above-mentioned end cutting process, the guide groove for knife cutting during molding is must be formed so as to protrude inwardly, and the product after knife cutting has flange-shaped portions 2a, 3a in which one wall that constitutes the guide groove portion protrudes inwardly, as shown in Fig. 2 (b). For example, the flange-shaped portion 2a of the duct 2, which remains on the inside when fitted, narrows the diameter of the passage as shown by a', significantly impeding air flow and adversely affecting the defrosting effect.

In the present invention, when forming the defroster duct 2, for example, the diameter a of the defroster duct 2 is slightly adjusted near the end of the defroster duct 2 on the side where the defroster nozzle 3 is fitted, as shown in FIG. A conical inclined surface 2c whose diameter gradually narrows from the upstream side to the downstream side is formed in the middle of the enlarged diameter section 2b to form a guide for knife cutting. The diameter of the tip of the flange-shaped portion 2a formed at the end of the duct 2 after knife cutting by the groove 2' and the inwardly protruding end 2c' of the inclined surface 2c is approximately the same as the diameter a of the duct 2, or It is designed to be somewhat large.

To explain in more detail, the duct 2 is integrally molded by blow molding or the like into a shape including the part indicated by the chain line, and during the waiting time of the molding process, the part shown by the chain line is cut off with a knife from the knife cut guide groove 2'. By forming the enlarged-diameter portion 2b within a predetermined range, that is, the fitting portion to the nozzle 3, the inward protrusion height of the flange-shaped portion 2a formed by one surface of the knife cutting guide groove portion 2' at the tip thereof can be adjusted to the above-mentioned height. The flange-shaped portion 2a is placed within the expanded diameter range of the expanded diameter portion 2b, and the tip of the flange-shaped portion 2a is aligned with the diameter a of the duct 2.
This is to prevent it from becoming smaller.

Further, a conical inclined surface 2c is formed in the middle of the enlarged diameter part 2b, so that the air can flow smoothly in the enlarged diameter part 2b as shown by the arrow without being disturbed. It goes without saying that the inwardly protruding end 2c' of the inclined surface 2c is also constructed so that it does not become smaller than the diameter a of the stop duct 2 within the enlarged diameter range of the enlarged diameter portion 2b.

Furthermore, in the present invention, in addition to the configuration of the fitting portion of the defroster duct 2, the fitting portion of the defroster nozzle 3 into which the duct 2 fits is also formed on the outer periphery of the enlarged diameter portion 2b of the duct 2, as shown in FIG. The nozzle 3 is formed in an enlarged diameter part 3b with the diameter a enlarged to fit the surface, and is provided in the enlarged diameter part 2b of the defroster duct 2 in the middle of the enlarged diameter part 3b as shown in FIG. A plurality of inward projections 3c (approximately 2 to 3 locations) are formed to fit and engage with the outer peripheral surface of the inclined surface 2c, and when the defroster duct 2 is inserted into the defroster nozzle 3, the enlarged diameter portion 2b of the duct 2 is inserted into the nozzle. Expanded diameter part 3 of 3
The inner protrusion 3c is configured to fit within the enlarged diameter range of b, and to engage and lock the inner protrusion 3c with the inclined surface 2c. Furthermore, the stepped portion 3d formed at the base of the enlarged diameter portion 3b of the nozzle 3 has a function as a stopper that the flange-shaped portion 2a at the tip of the duct 2 comes into contact with when the duct 2 is inserted, thereby regulating the insertion depth of the duct 2. There is.

Furthermore, if the surface 2d extending from the tip of the inclined surface 2c of the enlarged diameter portion 2b of the duct 2 to the flange-shaped portion 2a is formed into a conical surface 2d that convexes somewhat inward as shown in the figure, the nozzle 3 of the duct 2 This has the advantage that the insertion is performed smoothly and the fitting operation is extremely easy.

As described above, according to the present invention, with an extremely simple configuration, the inward burr of the knife-cut portion on the end face of the duct can provide an accurate defrosting effect without obstructing the flow of circulating air, and the fitting and connecting work of the duct can be achieved. It is possible to achieve a remarkable simplification of the process, and it can bring about a great practical effect.

Although the above embodiment shows an example in which the present invention is applied to the fitting joint between the defroster duct and the defroster nozzle, it can also be applied to the fitting joint of any other duct such as the fitting joint between the defroster duct and the side defroster duct. It goes without saying that the present invention can be applied to joints.
