However, since the deodorizing agent is installed in the refrigerator compartment, the internal volume of the refrigerator compartment is reduced by the size of the deodorizing agent. Furthermore, since such deodorizers are placed in one corner of the refrigerator compartment, it cannot be said that all of the cold air circulating within the refrigerator compartment passes through the deodorizer.

従って、脱臭効果も充分とは言えなかった。Therefore, the deodorizing effect could not be said to be sufficient.

In other words, when the cooling operation of the refrigerator stops, the cold air from the cooler flows back through the suction passage toward the refrigerator compartment.
There are problems in that the deodorizing agent in the deodorizing device freezes, impairing the deodorizing effect, impairing the ventilation of the suction passage, making it impossible to circulate cold air to the refrigerator compartment, and preventing the refrigerator compartment from cooling.

In the heat insulating wall 4, a freezer compartment suction passage 9 for returning cold air in the freezer compartment 2 to the cooler chamber 8 and a refrigerator compartment suction passage 1o for returning cold air in the refrigerator compartment 3 to the cooler compartment 8 are formed. 10a is an entrance space of the refrigerator compartment suction passage 1o whose lower part is open to the refrigerator compartment 3 side, and 3a is an entrance space 10 of the refrigerator compartment suction passage 10.
This is an opening hole provided in the ceiling that slopes downward toward the back of the refrigerator compartment 3 at the same position as the lower opening of the refrigerator compartment 3. Such an opening hole is a place where a deodorizing device, which will be described later, should be installed. Reference numeral 11 denotes a box-shaped fixture having an outer circumferential wall 11a and a plurality of ventilation holes 12 on the lower surface. is removably locked in an opening hole 3a provided in the ceiling of the refrigerator compartment 3 with almost no protrusion toward the refrigerator compartment 3 side. A plurality of ventilation holes 12 provided on the bottom surface of the box-shaped fixture 11 are
One side (front side) of the dividing surface 12a that separates each ventilation hole is connected to an edge portion 12b that edges upward, and the other side (rear side) is connected to a covering portion 12c that covers the upper side of the previous ventilation hole 12. has been done. Further, the space surface 13 formed by the tip of the edge portion 12b and the tip of the covering portion L2c is substantially perpendicular to the lower surface of the box-shaped fixture 11. The powder receiving part 14 formed from the dividing surface 12a, the edge part 12b, and the covering part 12c is used to catch fine powder generated by the weathering of honeycomb activated carbon, which will be described later, from falling into the refrigerator. It is. 15
is activated carbon for deodorizing the interior of the refrigerator whose outer periphery is suppressed by the mounting frame 16, and is detachably installed in the upper opening of the box-shaped fixture 11. The activated carbon 15 is formed by extruding a large number of ventilation holes into a honeycomb shape, and the ventilation holes are provided vertically. Reference numeral 17 designates a first bypass passage provided on the outer circumferential wall of the back of the box-shaped fixture 11. When the cooling operation of the refrigerator is stopped, cold air from the cooler chamber 8 flows through the refrigerator compartment suction passage 10 into the refrigerator compartment 3. As shown by the arrow (broken line) in Fig. 1, this backflow cold air is flowed into the refrigerator compartment 3 without directly hitting the activated carbon. Reference numeral 18 denotes a second bypass passage provided in the front part of the outer peripheral wall 11a of the box-shaped fixture 11, which not only serves as a suction port during cooling operation of the refrigerator, but also serves as a suction port when cooling operation of the refrigerator is stopped. Since the ventilation resistance is lower than that of the honeycomb activated carbon 15, warm air from the refrigerator compartment 3 side can be supplied to the entrance space 10a of the refrigerator compartment suction passage 10. This is to more effectively prevent freezing. Generally, when the ambient temperature at the location where the refrigerator is installed is low (for example, 10° C. or lower), the refrigerator stops for a long time. In addition, when the inside of the refrigerator compartment 3 is in a humid state, the temperature inside the refrigerator will be approximately 5℃ during the cooling operation of the refrigerator.
When the return air containing moisture passes through the ventilation holes of the honeycomb activated carbon 15, the honeycomb activated carbon 15 absorbs moisture. This honeycomb activated carbon 15 that has absorbed moisture may be cooled and frozen by the cold air (approximately -25°C) flowing back from the cooler chamber 8 during a long cooling operation stop, and of course the deodorizing effect will be extremely reduced. There was a risk that the honeycomb activated carbon 15 would crack.

The first bypass passage 17 and the second bypass passage 18 described above are for preventing such freezing of the honeycomb activated carbon. Therefore, the first bypass passage 17
The width of the second bypass passage 18 is equal to or larger than the width of the honeycomb activated carbon 15, so that the backflow cold air does not directly hit the honeycomb activated carbon. Also, the first bypass passage 17 and the second bypass passage 18a
Roofs 17a and 18a are provided at the upper ends, respectively, to prevent dew from dripping from the ceiling of the entrance space 10a and to securely catch passing air.

To explain the deodorizing effect of the deodorizing device configured as described above, in the refrigerator compartment suction passage 10 formed to forcibly draw cold air into the cooler 5 side, there is air blown out to the refrigerator compartment 3 side by the blower 7. About the same amount of cold air is sucked in. The honeycomb activated carbon of the present invention, which is installed to remove odors in the refrigerator compartment 3, is installed in the entrance space 10a of the refrigerator compartment suction passage 10, and moreover, the honeycomb activated carbon of the present invention is installed in the inlet space 10a of the refrigerator compartment suction passage 10, and moreover, Since the area ratio of the bypass passage 17 to the second bypass passage 18 is small, most of the return cold air flows through the box-shaped fitting 11 as shown by the arrow (solid line) in the figure.
By entering from the ventilation hole 12 on the lower surface, passing through the space surface 13, and passing through all the ventilation holes of the honeycomb activated carbon 15, the odor contained in the cold air is efficiently deodorized by the honeycomb activated carbon 15.

As explained above, even if the ambient temperature at the location where the refrigerator is installed is low, the cooling operation stop time is long, and the inside of the refrigerator is humid, the refrigerator compartment suction passage is connected to the cooler room during the cooling operation stop time. Even if cold air flows backward from the side to the deodorizing device side, the backflow cold air is dropped from the first bypass passage to the refrigerator compartment side, and the warm air from the refrigerator compartment is guided from the second bypass passage into the entrance space of the refrigerator compartment suction passage. Freezing of the activated carbon can be reliably prevented.

Further, by increasing the width of the first and second bypass passages on the width plate of the activated carbon, the effect of the bypass passage can be ensured.

Further, by providing roofs on the end faces of the first and second bypass passages, dew on the ceiling of the entrance space of the refrigerator compartment suction passage is prevented from dripping into the refrigerator, and the dew is allowed to pass through the respective bypass passages. Air can be guided reliably.

Therefore, the deodorizing device of the present invention not only can always maintain an efficient deodorizing effect, but also is economical because the activated carbon does not crack. Since only a portion of the system is used, the cost is low and there are many benefits.
