[3] Use the operating knob 21 to move the contact holder 14 to the third sliding position c and engage the ring groove 11.
When the engagement ball 19 is engaged with the contact 31, the contact 31 remains in contact with the contact plates 51 and 53 as in [2], and the small light group S continues to be lit. Therefore, at the first swing angle, the contact 35 contacts the contact plate 51, and the contact 37
contacts the contact plate 54, and the power supply current is applied to the movable plate 3.
9, the signal flows from contact 35 to contact 37, so that the main headlight HU is turned on. Further, when the contact holder 14 is swung to the second swiveling angle, the contact of the contacts 31 with the contact plates 51 and 53 does not change, and the contact of the contacts 35 with the contact plate 51 also does not change.
The small lamp group S and the auxiliary headlamp HL are turned on (at night) because they touch the contact plate 55 away from the lamp. That is, the above-mentioned operation produces the action of the second stage of the light switch and the action of the dimmer switch which switches on the main and sub-headlights HU and HL.

As clarified by the explanation of the above embodiments, the compound switch of the present invention slides the contact holder to several positions a to c within the switch case, and at each position further moves the contact holder to several positions perpendicular to the sliding direction. By arbitrarily selecting the sliding position and swing angle of the contact holder, the contact holder protrudes toward the insulator corresponding to the side surface in the sliding direction of the contact holder. It controls the contact/separation operation between a plurality of movable contacts in a contact holder and a plurality of contact plates embedded in the surface of an insulator, that is, the on/off operation of a plurality of switches, and its configuration is as follows: It is unique compared to previous combination switches for vehicles, and has superior operability.
It has the advantage of increasing the number of multiple switches, selection operations, and operations.

1. A contact holder that slides to a plurality of positions on a sliding shaft provided in a switch case and swings to a plurality of positions around the sliding shaft at each sliding position, and a sliding direction of the contact holder. a plurality of contact insertion holes arranged in the swinging direction are provided on the surface of the contact holder corresponding to the insulator, and each contact insertion hole has a length projecting in the sliding direction. A plurality of movable contacts with different contact angles are retractably protruded by springs, and a plurality of contact plates corresponding to the movable contacts are fixed to the insulator at each swing position of the contact holder. The movable contact selected corresponding to the sliding position contacts the contact plate, and the swinging motion of the contact holder at the same sliding position causes the selected movable contact to contact the other contact plate. A combination switch for vehicles characterized by the following.
