有するセラミツクス製インサート２を、シリンダ
ヘツド内壁面上に形成された凹所４に主燃焼室側
から装着して渦流室５を形成するデイーゼルエン
ジン用副燃焼室において、内壁面上の凹所４の主
燃焼室側に溝６が形成されているシリンダヘツド
１と、内周面にテーパー面８が形成されておりシ
リンダヘツド１の溝６に挿入されるリング形固定
治具７と、主燃焼室側の下端部がリング形固定治
具７のテーパー面８に合致するテーパー面９を有
する円錐台形状に形成されているインサート２と
からなり、シリンダヘツド１の内壁面上の凹所４
にインサート２を装着した後、ガスケツト１０を
介してリング形固定治具７をシリンダヘツドの溝
６に圧入することにより固定することを特徴とす
