Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a road surface by movably fitting the tail part of a shank into a case type flange, and retracting said shank into said flange by compressing a spring, etc. when a pressure above a certain value is applied to the head part of said shank. CONSTITUTION:A flange 1 is formed into a hollow thin-walled cylindrical case shape, while round holes 21, 31 are provided on both of its top and bottom faces 2, 3 respectively. A shank 4 which is fitted into the flange 1 through the holes 21, 31, is formed into a cylindrical shape from the head part 5 having a tip 51 to the tail part 6 on the opposite side, and the end edge 61 of the tail part 6 is projected out in an annular form toward the outer periphery. And, a semispherical hole 7 is provided from the center of the tail part 6 toward the inner part of the shank 4, while right and left springs 8 are provided in said hole 7 to press the shank 4 from the flange 1 toward the head part 5. Thereby, when a pressure C above a certain value is applied to the head part 5, the shank 4, together with the tip 51, can be retracted into the flange 1 to a defined length.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] "Industrial Application Field" The present invention improves snow tires attached to automobile tires to ensure safe driving and braking on icy and snowy roads, and to prevent wear and tear on the paved road surface. The aim is to prevent the occurrence of so-called car dust pollution as much as possible, and to maintain the promotion of industrial activities and make life more comfortable during the northern winter season and before and after it.

``Prior Art'' Various improvements to spikes have been announced up to now, but the method of retracting them into the rubber layer when they hit a hard paved road surface, but not retracting on icy and snowy roads, has not been studied in any way, from manufacturing to mounting, pulling out, and replacing them. Although it seems certain that this is the case, I couldn't find anything that seemed to be relatively simple and inexpensive.

``Problems to be solved by the invention'' It can be said that it is extremely difficult to improve spikes by relying solely on their material, shape, additions, etc. In other words, in terms of materials, as the temperature difference between the surrounding rubber layer becomes sudden and large, it becomes difficult to respond quickly, and in terms of shape and additions, it is necessary to change the structure of the tire, such as mounting holes, and when the tire is pulled out and replaced, additions may be removed. It seems that there is a tendency for troubles to occur, such as the tendency to remain in the holes.

``Means for Solving the Problems'' The present invention separates the conventionally integrated spike into two parts, the shank and the flange, and enables the shank to move for a predetermined length within seven lunges. A spring is installed between the shank and the flange so that when the shank hits a hard paved road surface, it retracts into the flange by a predetermined length, and when it does not, it is pushed out from the flange by a predetermined length to form an approximately conventional shape.・The idea is to install a strut horn mechanism that restricts movement to a predetermined length by arranging rubber or the like.

``Function'' On general roads where there is a mixture of compacted snow or frozen surfaces and exposed paved roads, the shank is likely to be moved in and out of the flange quickly and frequently over a specified length, so the resistance friction from the rubber layer surrounding the shank also increases. Become a dog and win. To avoid this, the shank is tapered so that it can easily be retracted into the flange and pushed out of the flange.

``Example'' ■The present invention first involves making a so-called flange body (hereinafter simply referred to as flange) into a kind of box shape, into which a tail portion of a so-called shank body (hereinafter simply referred to as shank) is movably fitted and secured. , a spring or other elastic body (hereinafter referred to simply as rubber) is placed between the box-shaped inner surface of the flange and the shank, and a pressure above a predetermined level is applied to the head of the shank in the direction of the flange. When the spring or rubber is compressed and deformed, the shank can be retracted into the 7 langes to a predetermined length,
If this is not the case, the shank can be pushed out of the 7 langes to a predetermined length by splashing or the resilient, resilient, expanding, and elongating action of the rubber. This is a spike for an automobile tire that has a stopper or other suitable shape structure between the two to prevent the spike from slipping out.

■As in the conventional example, the spikes of the present invention include two types, which have a so-called macaroni-shaped appearance and a bottle-shaped one, but since these types are not particularly relevant to the gist of the present invention, the appearance will be described as a pin-shaped example for convenience. Illustrated with chisel. It is assumed that the size is not much different from that of the conventional example, but for convenience of drawing and explanation, the balance of each part shown in the figure is not necessarily balanced.

That is, the left and right springs 8, 8, whose tips open diagonally upward in the shape of both airfoils, are arranged in a contracted state as desired, and the repulsive elasticity generated by the restraint received from the left and right corners causes the springs 8 to 7.
The shank 4 is compressed in the direction of the head 5 from the holder 1, and a part of the lower surface 3 is prevented from escaping due to the stopper action exerted on the edge 61 as described above, as shown in FIG. It looks like a single piece of spikes that are assembled together. This state shown in the second figure will be referred to as the normal state of the spike according to the present invention.

The shape of the left and right springs 8 and 8 in the normal state shown in Figure 3 is D.
If we assume that it is taken out as it is as shown in D in Figure 6, and remove the restraints received from the left and right corners, which were previously applied to both the left and right ends of the springs 8, 8,
The springs 8 and 8 open left and right to a relaxed state as shown in E (hereinafter simply referred to as "before relaxation"), but if a pinching force is applied from the left and right as shown by arrow F, they close toward the center and become tensioned as shown in G. The spring 8 is in a contracted state, and in this contracted state, the left and right ends are narrowed.
8 can be easily accommodated in the 7 flange 1 from the hole 21.

1. The flange is a kind of box shape, into which the tail of the shank is movably fitted and engaged, and an elastic body made of a spring or rubber or the like is arranged between the box-shaped inner surface of the flange and the shank. When a pressure above a predetermined level is applied to the head of the shank in the direction of the flange, the spring or elastic body is compressed and deformed so that the shank can be retracted into the flange to a predetermined length. The shank can be pushed out of the flange to a predetermined length by the resilient, restoring, expanding, and elongating action of the elastic body. A spike for an automobile tire, characterized by having a stopper or other suitable shape structure in between.
