[Detailed description of the invention] This invention relates to the invention of a cover for covering the opening of a freezer case, which effectively utilizes the cold air around the internal contents of the freezer case even when the cooling function of the freezer case is stopped for a considerable period of time such as at night. It is an object of the present invention to provide a cover for covering an opening that can be held and efficiently refrigerated for stored frozen articles.

It is well known that frozen cases are widely used in department stores, supermarkets, and other general stores to display and sell fresh foods or frozen foods. This freezing case is used for the purpose of storing foodstuffs etc. under appropriate freezing conditions and preventing them from deteriorating. In order to allow customers to freely select frozen foods, the opening of the freezer case needs to form a display space that is expanded within the allowable range of the freezer's thermal insulation capacity. For this reason, it is natural for such a freezing case to operate in the same large space as mentioned above even when the business is closed and closed after business hours, considering its purpose of freezing. The increase in energy costs due to this is considerable. For this reason, in recent years, it has become common practice to cover the frozen goods storage section at the bottom of the case while the store is closed. It is only used to cover and partition the inside of the freezing case, and the freezing effect on the target frozen goods is not necessarily favorable.

The present invention was devised through research to eliminate the disadvantages of the conventional ones as described above.
To explain the specific embodiment shown in the attached drawings, a heat radiating layer such as aluminum foil is interposed between a heat insulating layer a such as a foamed resin layer, a reinforcing layer b such as a plain cloth layer or a cloth layer. A heat insulating cover 1 as shown in FIG.
As shown in Fig. 3,
As shown in FIG. 1, one side of an auxiliary cover 2 is attached to one side of the bottom of such a heat insulating cover 1 as shown in FIG. As shown, it hangs down from the heat insulation cover 1,
It is adapted to be in contact with and cover the upper surface of the frozen article 20 housed in the housing section 8 of the freezing case 5.

The structure of the refrigeration case 5 can be any generally known structure with appropriate dimensions, and in the case of the one shown in the figure, a cooler 6, a cold air circulation fan 7, etc. are provided at the bottom. The cold air is discharged from a discharge port 15 provided on one side of the housing portion 8, and the cold air is discharged from a suction port 16 provided on the other side.
It is designed so that it is sucked in from the air and guided to the refrigeration mechanism. The heat insulating cover 1 described above generally has a certain degree of flexibility, and this is
In order to expand it, a hook portion 18 or the like is provided on the circumferential side to lock it, but in some cases, a wire mesh coated with a laminate may be adhered to obtain a certain degree of extensibility.

The heat insulating cover 1 is preferably formed to have a relatively thick layer, and as described above, the main body is a heat insulating layer such as a foamed resin layer, and a sheet-like material is formed by covering this with a heat-resistant diagonal layer or a waterproof layer. As shown in Figure 2A or B, multiple layers are polymerized and bonded, and an air layer can be formed between them. The auxiliary cover is also made of a plurality of layers, such as a heat insulating layer and a waterproof layer, which are bonded together in the same manner as above, and this is shown in Figure 2 A or B.
As shown in the figure, two to four pieces are glued together to provide appropriate flexibility. Furthermore, it is advantageous for the device according to the present invention to be smaller than the size of the opening in the freezer case 5 in terms of loading and unloading operations, and for this reason, the above-mentioned belt-shaped fastening means 11 are provided at the top and bottom of both sides of the heat insulating cover 1. It is preferable to attach the heat insulating covers 1 in parallel in the width direction (or length direction) by adhering them. Although a band-shaped fastening material is suitable as the fastening means 11, any other fastening means may be employed.

According to the present invention as described above, one side portion of the heat insulating cover 1 as described above to which the auxiliary cover 2 is adhered is positioned near the discharge port 15 to cover the opening 17, and the auxiliary cover 2 is made to hang down. By setting it in contact with the upper surface of the frozen article 20, the flow of cold air discharged from the outlet 15 effectively flows between the frozen articles 20 and cools the frozen article 20 appropriately. That is, in the case of only the heat insulating cover 1 without the auxiliary cover 2, a considerable space is formed between the upper surface of the frozen article 20 in the storage section 8 and the set heat insulating cover even if the opening 17 is covered. Normally, the flow of cold air from the discharge port 15 to the suction port 16 is formed in this simple space with little resistance, and the flow that enters the gap between the frozen articles 20 is extremely small. When the auxiliary cover 2 is used as described above, the mainstream of cold air enters and forms the gap between the frozen articles 20, and the flow of cold air that should be generated in the space above the gap is appropriately blocked.

The results of concrete measurements regarding this relationship are shown as a graph in Figure 4, and the temperature curve a to a in case 5 shows that the temperature curves a to a in case 5 have a slight tolerance even in defrosting, which is essential for such refrigeration equipment. The temperature of the frozen product is within the temperature range shown by the b-b, b'-b' curves. temperature difference). That is, there is no large disturbance in the temperature distribution during defrosting.

Further, the drive of the cooler 6 is stopped between 6 hours and 40 minutes to the 13th hour shown on the horizontal axis,
Similarly, the results of measuring and recording the temperature inside the case and the temperature of the product are shown in Figure 5. Even though the temperature inside the case rises to a certain degree due to the stoppage of operation of the cooler 6, the temperature of the product inside the storage section 8 is If the temperature is maintained at a low temperature, that is, even at 1:00 p.m., it is lower than the upper limit product temperature at the start of the measurement, stopping the operation of the refrigerator between 6:40 and 1:00 p.m. will have an adverse effect on frozen goods. It was confirmed that this was not the case.

According to the present invention as explained above, the storage section 8 is covered by the heat insulation cover 1, and the space between the heat insulation cover 1 and the upper surface of the frozen article 20 in the storage section 8 is covered by the auxiliary cover 2. It changes the flow of cold air in the frozen article 20, which is originally not introduced much, and allows a preferable passage of cold air into the frozen article 20. Furthermore, it exhibits a heat insulating effect as a composite cover consisting of the auxiliary cover 2 and the heat insulating cover 1. Therefore, it is possible to effectively maintain frozen goods at a temperature below the target temperature even by a cost-effective operation method such as stopping the operation of the refrigerator at an appropriate time after the store closes. This is a highly effective idea in practical terms. It is clear that the present invention is not limited to freezing cases, but can also be used in refrigerated cases without any problems.
