  1. 透明電極が形成されるとともに、所定の配向処

    その周縁部をシール材でシールしてセルとし、こ
    のセル内に液晶を注入した液晶表示素子において
    、硬質粒子の表面に軟質材を被覆して前記スペー
    サとしたことを特徴とする液晶表示素子。
