凹みを生じたりするために円筒部上端の外周に、
実公昭50−39019に見られる如き環状の鍔を突設
し、コンクリート等を内部に充填するなどして安
定化を図つて来たが、環状の鍔の函状をなす底に
小孔をあけてあつても、鍔の下面においてはアス
フアルト等の舗装材料をローラーで圧することが
できず、多小他の部分より密度が低くなることは
さけられず、またコンクリート舗装の場合、コン
クリート中に含まれる気泡が浮上し、この鍔の下
面に溜つて空隙を生ずることがあり、車輛等の通
過による衝撃等により空隙部においてコンクリー
トが破損し、制水弁筐の上部ががたついたり、沈
下することがあつた。また、制水弁筐の浮上、沈
下の補修工事や、道路の舗装面の嵩上げ工事など
に際し、制水弁筐の上部を廻わし高さを調節する
が、そのためには制水弁筐の周囲を少なくも上部
の下端まで掘り下げる必要があり、また螺合部に
土砂が挾まり調節が困難となることがしばしばあ
つた。

斗状に形成し、かつ、漏斗状の拡開部の長さを上
部2の全長の2分の1以上の長さとし、拡開部の
下端より下方に円筒部を設け、該円筒部の内壁面
には螺子山5を螺旋状に1周ないし3周(1リー
ドないし3リード)隆設せしめる。下部3の円筒
部の外壁面にも同様螺子山6を螺旋状に、上部2
の内筒部に隆設せしめた螺子山5と同じピツチで
円筒部全長に亘り隆設せしめる。また、螺子山
5,6を螺旋状に隆設せしめることにより形成さ
れる溝の幅は、螺子山の幅の少なくも1.5倍以上
広くなるようにする。上部2は下部3に冠着する

態で螺合されており、上部2は螺子山5の上側に
生じた空隙だけ上下に動き、かつ頂部が首を振る
ことができるので、制水弁筐の上部2にローラー
が当つても、下部3に及ぼす影響はその分だけ少
なくなり、損傷することも少なくなる。また、ア

も同じ密度で固めることができるので、アスフア
