Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a sheet having an odor-adsorptive property and gas permeability, by stretching a sheet comprising a thermoplastic resin, an inorganic filler and an odor-adsorbing agent. CONSTITUTION:An odor-adsorptive sheet obtained by at least unidirectionally stretching a sheet comprising a thermoplastic resin, an inorganic filler and an odor-adsorbing agent. As the thermoplastic resin used, a polyolefin is particularly suitable. Examples of the odor-adsorpbing agents include active carbon, porous silica, porous alumina, porous silicaalumina metal salt and a metal salt/ascorbic acid mixture. When the sheet having gas permeability and an odor-adsorptive property is used, it is possible that when there is an odoriferous substance on one side of the sheet, no odor can be sensed on the other side in spite of its permeability. This sheet has one having an odor-adsorbing property and gas permeability and is useful for disposable sanitary products such as paper diapers and sanitary articles and medical products such as sheets for patients.

Odor adsorbents such as carbon are used on a daily basis as odorous substance adsorbents, such as for cold rhinoceros, by taking advantage of their adsorption ability. In this method, the adsorbent is used as it is, but there is also an attempt to knead it with plastic and form it into a sheet for use as an adsorption sheet.

The present invention has been made by focusing on such conventional problems, and by making a breathable sheet hold an odor absorbent, it can uniformly and sufficiently absorb odor in any part of the sheet. The aim is to solve the above problems by making the system more effective. That is, the present invention makes it possible for one side of the sheet (= even if there is an odorous substance, no odor can be felt on the other side) while being breathable. In other words, the odor-absorbing sheet of the present invention is obtained by stretching a sheet-like material consisting of a thermoplastic resin, an inorganic filler, and an odor absorbent in at least one direction.By incorporating the inorganic filler into the thermoplastic resin and stretching it, it becomes a sheet. Micropores penetrate through it.If an odor adsorbent is added to this, the odor adsorbent sheet of the present invention can be obtained.
