紙を引き出し、記録ヘツドによつてその記録紙に
記録した後、該記録紙をプラテンローラによつて
ガイドプレートに沿つて排出口まで搬送し、該ガ
イドプレートの端部に形成されたカツタに記録紙
の記録部後端を突き当て、手操作によつて記録完
了の記録紙を分離切断するようにした記録装置に
おいて、上記プラテンローラの逆転駆動手段を備
え、かつ、上記カツタと上記記録ヘツドとの間の
記録紙搬送域に上記記録紙の先端を検出するセン
サを配設し、該センサの検出信号に基いてプラテ
ンローラの逆転駆動手段を停止させる制御部を有
し、記録に先だつて、上記逆転駆動手段を動作さ
せて、上記記録紙の先端を上記記録ヘツド側に戻
し、その記録紙の先端を上記センサによつて検出
し、記録紙の先端を上記記録ヘツドの近傍に停止
