2. Description of the Related Art As shown in FIG. 1, the seat cushion body of an automobile is constructed of continuous curved surfaces in the left, right, front, and rear directions, particularly in order to appropriately maintain the posture of an occupant during driving. This type of cushion body for general automobiles often has a cushion core made of a soft synthetic resin foam such as polyurethane resin, which is covered with a cover material having a backing layer of synthetic resin foam.
Simply covering the surface of the cushion core with a cover material does not allow the cover material to follow a complex continuous curved surface with unevenness. Therefore, conventionally, as typified by the description in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 51-411, a string is partially stretched from the back side of the cover material in the concave portion of the cushion core body, and the string is partially stretched vertically through the inside of the cushion core body. The shape of the concave-convex curved surface is maintained in a predetermined shape by using a so-called hanging structure in which the device is fixed to a mounting frame or the like on the back side.

However, in recent seat cushions of this type, the seat is often designed to have a continuous curved surface including a concave surface in order to further ensure a stable posture for the occupant, and the outer fabric is designed to follow such a concave surface. This is not easy to do with the above-mentioned hanging structure, and a gap is inevitably created between the cover material and the cushion core, which not only causes problems in appearance, but also in the seat design. In this case, the intended sitting posture holding performance and load distribution performance cannot be fully demonstrated, and functional problems such as seat collapse and durability occur.

Means for Solving the Problems In other words, this invention is for a seat that has a flexible cushion top plate and a cushion core that retains its shape, and whose seat portion is formed into a continuous curved surface including a concave surface. It is a cushion body, and the flexible cushion top plate is composed of an outer fabric, a plate-shaped soft synthetic resin foam, and a reinforcing lining fabric, which are made of a polyurethane prepolymer coated on one or both surfaces of their laminated joint surfaces. The seat portion is integrally laminated and formed in advance into a predetermined curved shape by the reaction hardening action of the cushion, and the cushion top plate is attached to the upper surface of the cushion core formed in the predetermined curved shape. The present invention relates to a cushion body for an automobile seat, characterized by:

FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing the flexible cushion top plate 20 together with its cross section. configured,
These are shaped in advance into the predetermined curved shape and raised shape of the seat portion 11. The cushion top plate 20 is formed by sequentially laminating the outer fabric 21, the plate-shaped soft synthetic resin foam 22, and the reinforcing lining fabric 23 in predetermined molds 41 and 42, for example, as shown in FIG. This is carried out by applying a polyurethane prepolymer to one or both surfaces of the bonding surface, for example, the soft synthetic resin foam 22, and hardening it by pressure contact while applying sufficient water and heat to cause a foaming reaction. Incidentally, when forming the cushion top plate 20, creases in the outer fabric 21 may appear on a specific curved surface. For example, in the example shown in FIG. 1, irregular folds may appear in the outer fabric 21 near the curved surface A rising from the bottom of the seat on both sides. These creases are greatly affected by the material of the outer fabric 21, especially its elasticity, or the curved surface shape of the portion, but in such a case, the specific curved surface is reserved as the uncoated portion of the polyurethane prepolymer. It is preferable to keep it. Therefore, in the areas where the polyurethane prepolymer is not applied, the outer fabric 21 is not bonded to the synthetic resin foam 22 and the lining fabric 23, and is left to their free expansion and contraction, resulting in unpleasant creases in the product appearance. I never manifest myself.

FIG. 5 is an exploded sectional view showing how the cushion top plate 20 is assembled to the seat cushion body. The cushion core body 30 is made of a soft polyurethane resin foam or the like, and is pre-molded to define almost the entire shape of the seat cushion body 10, and has shape retention properties as a seat. The cushion core 30 of the embodiment is obtained by molding by injecting polyurethane resin into a foam mold. It is a matter of course that this cushion core upper surface 30a is formed into a basic curved surface shape (including a concave surface) set in the seat design. However, it is not necessarily necessary to have decorative or fine irregularities such as those defined by the design lines 12 on the cushion top plate 20 described above.

Functions/Effects As is clear from the drawings and explanations above, the seat cushion body according to the invented structure has a shape-retaining cushion core formed in advance in a predetermined curved shape. It is equipped with a flexible cushion top plate that is integrally laminated and formed into a predetermined curved shape of the part.
The adhesion between the two becomes extremely good. FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view of a cover material 45 wrapped around a cushion core using a conventional suspension structure. Spaces B and C are inevitably created due to the poor quality of the seat, and the cover material is bulky, which not only improves the appearance but also lacks the ability to maintain posture as a seat. This invention eliminates these drawbacks and easily realizes a predetermined curved surface shape set in the seat design. In addition, the cushion top plate is formed by laminating the outer fabric, soft synthetic resin foam, and reinforcing lining fabric together by curing polyurethane prepolymer, so it maintains a certain curved shape and is flexible. It also has unique cushioning properties as a cover material. Therefore, some materials have excellent feel as a cover material and excellent initial feel as a cushion body. Furthermore, since the cushion top plate and the cushion core have good conformability, there is no tension or sag in any part of the seat components, which results in excellent load distribution when the vehicle is running, and the seat itself The effects of this idea, such as improved durability, are extremely large.
