Claims (1)

液晶と、前記第３の基板の前記第１の基板に対向
する面または前記第１の基板の前記第３の基板に
対向する面に設けられ偏光軸が第１の方向の光の
みを吸収する第１の光吸収膜と、前記第３の基板
の前記第２の基板に対向する面または前記第２の
基板の前記第３の基板に対向する面に設けられ偏
光軸が前記第１の方向とほぼ直角な第２の方向の
光のみを吸収する第２の光吸収膜とを含むことを
