BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Such drilling head teeth are used underwater in dredging vessels and are located as a wear part on the rotating drilling head in the boom of a pump dredger. The drilling head teeth work to drill sand or rock and are therefore exposed to high wear.

The cutting head teeth are of a lamellar design and preferably have a circular, rectangular or square cross section. Such a drilling head tooth is disclosed in West German Patent No. 2841523.
No. 3,300,467 and Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 3300467. Furthermore, it is known to construct dredge teeth for dipper dredgers in a molded manner for reasons of strength or heat treatment. German Patent Application No. 27 44 497 discloses such a barbed tooth with an engineered cross section. “Economical manufacturing magazine J79/1984, No. 96
Such a dredge tooth with an X-shaped cross section is described on pages 99-99.

Disadvantages of known drilling head teeth include the strong drilling profile 1.
It is mentioned that the top load imposes a very high thermal load on the tooth. This high heat load reduces the wear resistance of the material and thus leads to premature wear of the drilling head teeth. Drilling head teeth typically provide a large portion of the material as wear material to keep the teeth engaged as long as possible and reduce tooth replacement time associated with raising the drilling head from the water. .

Therefore, a configuration corresponding to a dredging tooth for a dipper dredger is not suitable for functioning as a drilling head tooth. This is because this configuration does not provide enough wear material.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is therefore an object of the invention to increase the service life of drilling head teeth for pump dredging vessels while keeping the use of wear materials intact.

Embodiment In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the trough-shaped recesses of each circumferential surface merge into one recess in the area of the tooth tips. In order to accommodate the additional wear material, it is also advantageous if the circumferential surface of the pyramid-shaped cutting head tooth is designed in its entirety or in part with a slight outward curvature.

Effects of the Invention The following are the major advantages obtained by the configuration of the present invention. With the embodiment of the invention, the trough-shaped recesses thus provide good cooling of the cutting head teeth, which increases the service life of the material used and thus of the cutting head teeth as a whole. In addition to this, the modified material distribution provides an improved moment of resistance against bending in the cutting head tooth, which results in reduced material stresses and a further increase in the service life of the cutting head tooth. Furthermore, the trough-like configuration of the cutting head teeth adjacent to the circumferential edge improves the transport of the excavated bottom and thus increases the working efficiency.

As can be seen from the drawing, the drilling head tooth 1 is inserted into the adapter 2 and fixed using a fixing member 3 (see FIG. 1). The adapter 2 is welded to the drilling head of the pump dredger (not shown). This allows each drilling head tooth 1 to be replaced in a simple manner as a worn part. The drilling head teeth 1 are of lamirad-shaped construction and have a square cross section. The circumferential surface 4 of the two-lamid outer contour is of flat design. However, the circumferential surface 4 may also be designed entirely or partially in a slightly outwardly curved manner (the fourth
(see figure). Adjacent to the edge 5 of the circumferential surface 4 trough-shaped recesses 6 are arranged, these recesses 6 extending in a V-shape towards the tooth tips 7 and in the area of the tooth tips 7. 1
It merges into two recessed portions 8. In the cross-sectional area shown in FIG. 4, the circumferential surface 4 is configured with a slight outward curvature.
