圧する押圧手段と、同立ち上がり縁部8および口
縁部を加熱する加熱手段とからなり、 押圧手段が、固定押圧部材18と、固定押圧部
材18を取囲んでいる複数の可動押圧部材19
と、固定押圧部材18に対し各可動押圧部材19
を接近・離隔させるように各可動押圧部材19を
水平移動させる流体圧シリンダ27とを備えてお
り、固定押圧部材18の外周面は立ち上がり縁部
8の内周面にそう多角形に形成され、可動押圧部
材19の対向面は平面より見てV形でかつ接近時
の合した状態では全体として固定押圧部材18の
外周面にそう多角形に形成されている容器のヒー
トシール装置において、 固定押圧部材18が水平支持板23の下面に取
付けられ、可動押圧部材19および流体圧シリン
ダ27の数は蓋5の角の数と同数であり、各可動
押圧部材19は、水平支持板23の下面に設けら
れた案内部材25により平面より見て固定押圧部
材19外周面のなす多角形の中心とその各角を結
ぶ方向に移動自在に支持され、流体圧シリンダ2
7は可動押圧部材19の外側にそれぞれ1つずつ
内向きに配置されて水平支持板23の下面に取付
けられ、各流体圧シリンダ27のピストン・ロツ
ド27がその内側にある可動押圧部材19に連結
されていることを特徴とする容器のヒートシール
装置。
