When viewed from the side, the conventional gap frame press has a so-called C-shape in which the front edge of the main plate 1 has a jaw portion 4 cut off from the crown portion 3 and bed portion 5, as shown in Fig. 3. It has a gap frame. The front edge 5a of the bed portion is the front edge 3 of the crown portion.
It protrudes forward compared to a. As shown in FIG. 4, reinforcing plates 2 are welded in an L-shape from the jaw portion 4 to the bed portion 5 on the inside of the main plate 1 on both the left and right sides. Now, in the conventional bed, the upper plate member 6 is welded to the main plate 1 and the reinforcing plate 2 on both sides of the bed portion 5 in the left-right direction, and then the upper plate member 6
Lower plate members 7 in the left and right direction at the lower front and rear ends of the
7 were connected and welded between the reinforcing plates 2 to form a channel shape. A bolster 8 is attached to the upper surface of the upper plate member 6 by tightening bolts from above.

Therefore, since the distance between the lower plate members 7, 7 in the front-rear direction is large, when a load F is applied to the bolster 8 during press working, the upper plate member 7 moves in the front-rear direction as shown by the dashed line in FIG. The lower plate member 7,
7, the lower end of the center was bent back and forth, and the bolster 8 was bent not only in the left-right direction but also in the front-back direction along with the bending of the upper plate member 7. Furthermore, the height of the top surface of the bolster for the entire press frame,
The so-called working surface height is conventionally fixed, and since the upper plate member 6 is provided in the bed part, the height L1 of the frame of the bed part 5 is correspondingly lower, and the jaw part 4 is lower.
The cross-sectional moment of inertia of the bed portion 5, which is a cantilever extending forward from the base, is small, and the structure has a large amount of deformation and stress.

(Means for solving the problems) The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate these drawbacks, reduce the amount of deformation of the bed, reduce the deflection of the bolster, and provide a highly rigid structure. To provide a bed for a gap frame press that can extremely reduce the amount of mutual deviation between the mold and the mold. In particular, the bed of the present invention is characterized by a parallel plate-shaped structure instead of the conventional channel shape.

In FIGS. 1 and 2, main plates 1, 1 facing in the front-rear direction are provided on both left and right sides of the press. When the main plate 1 is viewed from the side, the front edge 3a of the crown portion and the front edge 5a of the bed portion are vertically aligned, and the jaw portion 4 is cut off from the front edge. On the inside of the main plates 1, 1, there is an L-shaped reinforcing plate 2 extending from the jaw part 4 to the bed part 5.
2 are welded together. When viewed from the front, the bed portion 5 has a main plate 1 and a reinforcing plate 2 integrated into a substantially I-shaped member. Two lower plate members 7, 7 facing in the left-right direction are welded to the I-shaped members on both sides. Further, the front portions of the lower plate members 7, 7 are aligned with the front edge 5a of the bed portion, and the rear portions are symmetrically welded directly below the jaw portion 4, respectively.

Since the bed of the present invention has such a structure, even if the front-to-back dimension of the inner surface 7c is selected to be sufficiently larger than the hole dimension 6a of the conventional example, the front-to-back distance between the lower plate members 7, 7 will be 60 to 70% of that of the conventional type. If it is roughly calculated that the deflection is proportional to the cube of the distance, the deflection can be reduced to about 22 to 35% compared to the conventional type. Furthermore, since the conventional bed had a channel-shaped structure in which the lower plate member and the lower plate members at the front and rear ends were integrally joined, when the load F was applied, it not only deflected in the left-right direction but also in the front-back direction. However, since the bed of the present invention has a vertical parallel plate structure with only the front and lower plate members excluding the upper plate member of the conventional example, it is difficult to load. When F was applied, it became as if only deflection occurred in the left and right direction. Also, the height L2 of the frame of the bed part 5 is larger than the height L1 of the conventional example by excluding the upper plate member 6.The second moment of area of the bed part 5, which is a cantilever extending from the jaw part 4, is The amount of deformation is small, and the stress at the boundary between the jaw portion 4 and the bed portion 5 is small.

However, in the case of the present invention, since the front and rear spacing between the lower plate members 7, 7 is reduced, when installing a duct between them, a duct with a smaller diameter than the conventional example is used, but high pressure gas ducts, etc. The space below the lower plate members 7, 7 is the same as before, so if you install a duct in this space, you can use a dictusion with the same diameter as before, and you can perform the work in the same way as before. .

FIGS. 5 and 6 are diagrams comparing the deflection of the upper surface of the bolster between the present invention and the conventional example, which have the same bolster surface dimensions and the same press capacity. Figure 5 shows the longitudinal deflection of the bolster when the same press load F is applied, and Figure 6 compares the measured data of the horizontal deflection of the bolster. It is confirmed that there has also been a significant decrease in Therefore, the bolster can maintain a high level of flatness during operation, which can provide good results for product accuracy and mold life.

Next, in FIG. 7, the height from the press bolster 8 to the slide 9 is adjusted to the mold height H,
During this time, the displacement of the front edge of the crown part 3, the gib part 10 of the jaw part 4, the slide 9, and the bed part 5 when a load F is applied by press working is measured. Set up two measurement points above and below in each measurement part as shown in a to h, apply the dial gauge 11 fixed on the floor to the measurement points, and measure the results on the right side in the measurement point height/displacement diagram. It was shown in The solid line indicates the present invention, and the dashed line indicates the conventional example. A positive displacement indicates that the leading edge of the press is extended, and a negative displacement indicates that the front edge of the press has retreated. As is clear from the figure, the present invention exhibits less displacement and higher rigidity than the conventional example. In addition, in the diagram, the intersection Q, which is an extension of the line ef and the line gh connecting the measurement points of the slide 9 and the bed portion 5, is located at approximately half the mold height H.
In other words, since this corresponds to the position of the contact surface between the upper die and the lower die, even if the frame is deformed due to the load F, the amount of displacement in the front and rear direction of the press between the upper die and the lower die will be almost the same. This indicates that there is no adverse effect on the life of the mold. On the other hand, in the conventional example, the intersection point P is far away from the contact surface of the upper mold and the lower mold downward, and the amount of deviation l is large, which shortens the life of the mold.

(Effects of the invention) As is clear from the above explanation, according to the invention, a highly rigid structure can be obtained without increasing the weight of the press, and the upper surface of the bolster maintains a high flatness.
In addition, the amount of misalignment between the upper and lower molds is almost zero, which extends the life of the mold, reduces the area that requires processing of the bed, and reduces man-hours during production. And the advantages are significant.

In addition, according to the present invention, the front edge of the bed is aligned with the front edge of the crown, so the main plate can be used by cutting off the jaw from a single plate with the front and back width of the crown, which reduces material yield. is significantly improved compared to the conventional example.
