However, in recent years, as buildings have become more airtight, installing a bath buzzer in the bathroom may not be enough to reach the living room, and if the sound is made too loud, it may disturb the neighbors. The most important thing to avoid is raising the temperature of the water too high or heating it dry without hearing the alarm.

However, what must be kept in mind at this time is the antenna structure of the handset. The structure is such that the connection between the antenna and the main case is waterproof even if the handset is accidentally submerged in hot water while taking a bath, and the shape is such that it will not be damaged even if a child uses it incorrectly. It is necessary to satisfy the following requirements: , good transmission efficiency, and no electric shock even if touched with leakage.

In FIG. 1, this bath buzzer consists of a slave unit S and a master unit P. In this detection part 3, if the switch 2 is connected to the terminal 4a, it will detect whether the water level has reached the appropriate position, and if it is switched to the end 4b, the water temperature detected by the sensor part 1 will be set to the set value. Based on this signal, the oscillating section 5 oscillates, and radio waves are radiated from the antenna ring 22 via the transmitting section 6.

The base unit P receives this radio wave at the receiving unit 7, detects only the above-mentioned signal, and uses this at the slave unit identification unit 8 to determine whether the signal received by the receiver unit 7 is noise or a signal specific to the slave unit S. Identify and prevent false alarms.

In FIG. 2, reference numeral 13 denotes a main body case, which houses the above-mentioned detecting section 3, oscillating section 5, and transmitting section 6, and a chassis 14 that covers these is the main body case 13.
The lid is secured by fixing a screw 15 to a boss 19 protruding from the inner surface of the housing. A battery receiving terminal plate 16 is erected on the lower surface of the chassis 14 and stores and holds a dry cell as a power source 11. This power supply 11
is covered with a battery cover 18 which is screwed into a threaded cylinder part 17 provided at the lower end of the main body case 13, and when replacing the power source 11, the battery cover 18 can be screwed off.

For a waterproof structure at this time, an elastic cylindrical packing 21 having a flange 20 is fitted into the base of the threaded cylindrical part 17 of the main body case 13. In this case, the flange 2
0 on the base side of the threaded cylinder part 17, the antenna ring 22 is held between the flange part 20 of this packing 21 and the main body case 13, and when the battery cover 18 is screwed on, the antenna ring 22
is clamped, and even if the battery cover 18 is screwed off, it remains held by the elastic force of the packing 21, so that it will not fall off inadvertently when replacing the battery.

This antenna ring 22 has a hole 22a that engages with three locking protrusions 23 provided on the periphery of the threaded cylindrical portion 17.
One of the locking protrusions 23 is a conductive protrusion 23a connected to the output end of the transmitter 6,
It is insert-molded in the main body case 13, and electrically connects the two. The antenna ring 22 in Fig. 2 is partially cut out to increase the effective length of the antenna, but if the antenna ring 22 is made into an annular body, the antenna ring 22
2 may be installed at any point. The reason why a part of the antenna ring 22 is cut out is to correct the effective length of the antenna after the main body case 13 is assembled. To facilitate this correction process, a thin recessed band 22b that can be cut and folded is provided in a part of the ring 22. has been established.

In this way, the antenna ring 22
By attaching the antenna ring 22, it is easy to replace or modify the antenna ring 22, and unnecessary protrusions can be eliminated.Since the antenna ring 22 is protected by the main body case and the battery cover 18, it cannot be accidentally dropped. However, the antenna ring 22 will not be deformed or damaged. Furthermore, since the antenna ring 22 is elastically protected by the packing 21, it will not be deformed or warped due to excessive tightening of the battery cover 18.

This kind of effect can be seen in Figure 4 when packing 2
This can also be achieved by embedding the antenna ring 22 inside the antenna 1. In particular, in this case, the antenna ring 22, except for the conductive part 22C, is all protected by the waterproof packing 21, so even if it leaks and is touched by hand, it will not leak. There will be no electric shock, and no rust or corrosion will occur.

Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 5, a similar effect can be obtained by providing a recess 26 in a portion of the packing 21 and fitting the antenna ring 22 into the recess 50.
In this case, the recess 26 may be provided on the main body case 13 side and the packing 21 may be positioned to cover it.

Note that in the above embodiment, the bath buzzer is composed of a slave unit S and a base unit P that receives a signal from the slave unit S and emits an alarm sound, but the base unit P is not particularly necessary, and the transmission frequency of the slave unit S is set to the normal Just set it to the frequency of your radio receiver.

Furthermore, in the embodiment described above, the connecting portion is connected by a threaded structure such as the threaded cylinder portion 17 to improve waterproofness.
Other bond structures such as bayonet structures can also be used.

As described above, in this invention, the antenna provided on the bath buzzer is made into a ring shape and is attached to the joint between the body case 13 and the battery cover 18 via the packing 21, thereby improving the waterproofness and insulation properties of the packing 21. The antenna ring 22 is made using elasticity.
can be installed easily and safely, and by positioning it at the joint between the two, maintenance and replacement can be easily performed.
